Let's be honest, Breazeale isn't much. But Wilder has one trick - if it doesn't work he's SOL.

Breazeale sounding very confident in his interviews. C'mon Dom!
Honestly, though, do you think Breazeale can “chin” him?
Much as I’m tired of Wilder’s talk about “a body” and all that, I don’t see him losing this fight. He’s hit 40 boxers and none could chin him. Fury got up, but he was hurt bad and most refs would have stopped it.

Wilder will lose to Breazeale twice and it's a wrap. Good fighter , horrible fan base and easily the dumbest Heavyweight to ever lace'em up losing 100 million.

Breazele has a pretty good jab, that's probably the best thing he does ..he is committed to it...he throws it when he's fresh, tired, hurt or whatever. Kinda admirable to see a late starter to boxing to really believe in that fundamental and stick to it (not saying it's th ebest jab or top of the HW's, just relative for Breazele as an individual)

He's a lumbering guy and slow on defense - not much reflex in that dept so we've seen him knocked around, taken some hellacious bombs - but I see that people realize that he kept himself alive and extended some of those fights, I think it was thanks to that jab (and heart).

I have to give him a chance because anyone at HW can go, and Wilder is taking longer and longer to get started in his fights, especially against taller guys outside of KElvin Price IIRC (im prob forgetting some fights)

Obviously, he's lumbering to such a degree it makes the KO seem imminent, but I don't think the style matchup is a bad one for him, offensively at least.

I said I thought Wilder would win in 4 and Breazeale isn't much. Did you respond to the wrong post?

Breazeale has a puncher's chance... as long as he can take Wilder's power because he has a history of blocking right hands with his face.

Interressing bout. Breazeale have a puncher's chance... He's game, with a lot of heart and is much heavier than the champ. I hope Deontay is not underestimate this guy. But Trouble is really slow and has a suspect chin. I think Wilder is too powerful and too fast for him.

How is it an interesting bout if your prediction is a ko in 3? lol..smh. Stop it kid, this is crap show and less than a tune up for Wilder.

Like Lennox you mean, when he got chinned. It's HW boxing man, anything could always happen. Enjoying the current era much more than the last.

Good to see some technical analysis in the thread.

I give Breazeale a decent chance too. He might well get wiped out but he can usually take a shot, and has power of his own.

I'm not enjoying it as much as the Ali era, the Holmes era, or the Tyson era! I don't think any of these guys could beat a prime Holmes, a prime Lennox, or a prime Bowe! The Wlad era was so boring, it makes this era seem like something special, when it really is NOT!
