If you are Canelo Alvarez fan then you should love this fight. This would be vintage Ginger all over again.

He has a very slow stationary opponent in front of him who can't hit or move. Just watch the beautiful display of counter combination punching and body shots by Canelo.

In moments like these he typically shines; Especially against Euros not named Gennady Golovkin. He only struggles against American fighters because of their speed and quickness.

i think you are talking to the wrong fan base, im a canelo fan and i want him to fight andrade in september... you will hardly find any canelo fans that dont want that fight neither anyone making excuses as to why the fight shouldnt happen...

Canelo deserves a lesser challenge. Not to say that Derevyanchenko isn't a good fighter, he is, but I don't hope he drops his belt. Let's get an undisputed champion in this division

Like I just said in another post I actually like that the IBF is aggressive with mando's IN THEORY. The problem is the PRACTICE of the mando's they put forth make no damn sense far too often.

A Culcay W shouldn't be getting ANYONE a mando fight. Thats my bottom line on this situation.

And Spence was a deserving mando. I'm not saying there aren't deserving mando's. But the guy the IBF pushed on Spence last year wasn't one of them. And neither is Derevyanchenko now. And I'm sure I could think of a lot more other bs IBF mando's if I actually researched it more.

Andrade makes more sense. A GGG trilogy fight makes more sense with how close those fights were. Mall makes more sense. If BJS has any intention of fighting 160 again he makes more sense. Sh^t man David L makes more sense if he can make 160 than a guy who just lost a belt fight. If I looked at the rankings I could probably come with a lot more guys.

In a letter sent via email to Robert Diaz of Golden Boy Promotions, Alvarez's promoter, the IBF informed the company and Alvarez that the mandatory title defense is "due on or before Aug. 4" and gave them contact information for Derevyanchenko promoter Lou DiBella to begin talks.

"Negotiations should commence immediately and be concluded by June 15, 2019," the IBF wrote.

If the camps don't make a deal by the deadline, the IBF will order a purse bid with the highest bidder gaining promotional control of the fight.

Andrades next fight is in june 22nd, cant even make a deal there...

That's the point that is going over so many peoples heads. It's not just a terrible mandatory it's the impossible timeline they just enforced on Canelo. I know you wanted to fight all these guys that better higher ranked at middleweight and higher ranked P4P but phuk that you must fight dervy who is worst just lost to the guy you beat and no fans are asking for this fight. And I don't care if you already have 2 belts and they have mandatories ahead in the rotation then us but if you don't say phuk you to them and defend our belt next you stripped? Imagine if you are Charlo with WBC and this clown and IBF get to jump the line ahead of you? Technically the WBA is next in line and looking at rankings GGG is number 1 so he should be mandatory for WBA. GGG and Charlo all have a better claim to deserving next mandatory in line since the belt orgs are supposed to work together when belts are unified. Well IBF blatantly breaking from that and trying to force them being in front of the line when Canelo has had that belt less then 2 weeks and had the other belts since Sept and hasn't defended against either WBA or WBC mandatory yet.

And last they all supposed to allow for unifications isnt that the rule the 1 exception to fighting your mandatory well WBO champ fights on June 26 why are they not allowing enough time for Andrade to fight and try and work out a deal to unify all the belts with Andrade? Instead canelo has to decide whether to keep the IBF before June 15. This is why it's almost impossible to become undisputed with so many belt orgs intentionally creating ****** roadblocks because the truth is they don't want 1 champ holding all the belts and you have so many enti ties paying them off so their guy can get 5 straight mandatory ordered fights *cough...Lou Dibella. I haven't even gotten to the demand that Canelo who always fights in May then Sept and has ridiculous amounts of money tired to those dates yet IBF says now fight this clown before Aug 4 like that is at all possible or fair lol
