lol at Showtime being 'America's boxing Network'

Give it up Showtime, HBO has you beat. HBO has all the best and most important fighters, and atleast 90% of the fighters regarded as the 10 best pound for pound. Not sure if Showtime's strategy of claiming to be the best is actually working for them. I salute Showtime anyway though, atleast they do show top fights, but they are no where near the best boxing network, that title, right or wrong, belongs to HBO Boxing.

Showtime is cool to watch cause they show more boxing, but everytime i get Showtime for a fight, then i see their gay show previews that **** pisses me off. Basicly after ordering showtime i feel sick even though its only to watch the boxing matchs. Showtime is going in the wrong direction with their gay programming ****.

HBO is the channel for boxing.

      In 2005, Showtime > HBO

They've had a few shows fall through this year and HBO has upped the number of telecasts by reinventing the BAD series

Still, Showtime fight-for-fight has better matched opponents and often better commentary

They should bring back Cyz, Steve Farhood is good anaylist but Cyz has some good insites about the sport and the fighting.

Yeah this year defently hbo, hbo has been kicking ass this year. Last was great for the Castillo v. Corrales alone was a great year for showtime and boxing. But hbo has the money to spend, showtime showcases the european fightes then hbo pays them lots of money to fight on their network.

That's exactly how I feel about Showtime.

Showtime has more fights and for a while there the only time you could catch a good HBO fight was on PPV. Showtime gave us Lacy vs. Calzaghe, Castillo vs. Corrales for free.

Showtime has the better fights by miles. The two top candidates for fight of the year were both televised by Showtime this year. What the hell are you talking about? Showtime whooped HBO's ass in 2005 too. They don't have the best fighters, but their quality of fights isn't even comparable. Showtime has HBO whooped.

one of the fight-of-the-year candidates of mine this year was on ESPN2 and another on a Top Rank PPV show. I don't really care what the graphics, lighting, or even announcing is like if it's a good fight...

People who only watch HBO Boxing are missing a lot
