I don't think it does anywhere near as well as the Broner PPV.

Broner, love him, or hate him, is a draw, has his own fanbase and culture etc, and people hate him, which tally ups to even more PPV buys from his end.

Thurman does not have that, Garcia would have been a better choice even though he does not have a title.

I disagree! Being a boxing fan has nothing to do with getting scammed. I attend and watch many fights. Although Manny was considered one of the bigger draws in boxing, he is now old and this should not be a pay per view event.

I agree. Manny is well passed his prime and Thurman looked terrible last time out .This 'well you can't be a boxing fan nonsense' is just that ...nonsense. It's mugs like that who make it possible for greedy promoters to put sub level fights out this way.

Thurman didn't look good against Lopez but I think that was about rust. But he should be able to beat 40 year old Manny Prime Manny beats Thurman easy but this version I can't see it. Thurman is not a gun shy constant loser like broner.
