After 22 months off, Thurman needed at least a 2nd tuneup for his timing. This fight will be tough for him.

Yeah but do they get credit? Pacman is washed up and no longer a draw, spence garcia did the same numbers as pac broner. He wont be making twenty million vs pacman and the fight wont do more than 500k buys. Its a lose lose for thurman, pacman will get the lionsshare.

At least if he fought spence they could split the money fifty fifty and it will do the same amount as most recent pacman ppvs or more and he would get more money and a more credible win.

If this was pacman in his prime who was doing 800k to 1.4 million buys a ppv and was a monster before the anti gay remarks yes it would be a smart fight to take and a win win financially and legacy wise

Manny deserves all the respect for taking this fight. I am still waiting on Crawford to actually take a fight like this. They’re shielding Crawford. Should be an exciting fight. Even though Thurman is the bigger man we have seen pac beat bigger guys like cotto in the ring.
