Hope so...feel like a lot of Joshua's numbers may be holding steady until he fights someone better than Ruiz. Maybe not though should be interesting.

That was kinda confusing at first, but I understand now. I guess enough people bought the $100 annual subscription to cover Canelo's fight on Saturday. In accrual based accounting terms, they lost money, but they generated enough money from the fight to cover all of the expenses for the event.

They still need to consistent good schedule to keep up the momentum.

So most Canelo fans bought their 1 year DAZN subscriptions and generated numbers. And this was one of THE biggest fights. So they will not be adding any revenue to the other Canelo fights coming up in the year. How will DAZN make any money then?

Are they counting the people they stole money from that didn't get to watch the fight and still haven't gotten a refund?

With Canelo and Jacobs guarantee is that really a big number? They seem happy so more power to them.

Magic. That's what everyone here seems to think. The numbers don't add up. They're going to raise the price again before the end of the year.

Sure looks like it. I don’t see how they could generate profit.

They got to be around 1M in subscriptions with a mix of fans on 1 year and some on monthly plan. The more yearly plan means money already banked and guaranteed higher number of subscribers and less you have to retain between now and Sept. You will add subscribers who are Joshua and GGG fans that's the focus in the short term. And then try and and get another big boost in new subscribers for the next canelo fight. But the ultimate goal is not just boxing they are adding more content and making a play for NFL Sunday Package by the end of the year.

But I love how the narrative changed first it was nobody will watch fights on DAZN then it was ok but everyone will just subscribe 1 month then cancel now fans are arguing that too many subscribed to the 1 year to see canelo like that's some how a bad thing now having too many longer term subscribers lol
