And Rutkowski said they were close to a million a couple weeks ago. Then reports came out that Canelo brought in hundreds of thousands of viewers and only a little over half retained their subscription. So that means they were nowhere near 1mil when he wrote that. In order for us to believe they were in the positive side of 500k after the people cancelled after the Fielding fight we'd have to believe the Fielding fight brought in more viewers than the Jacobs fight which was 700k. None of these numbers add up.
Frankie0jobs and bigdunny1 have assured me that DAZN is past 1 million subscribers in the US. they each claim to be just humble boxing fans that just want boxing fans to get more fights.

Frankie creates fake anti dazn "ldbc" videos and posts them while bigdunny1 reads an article, posts it, then blatantly lies about what was stated in it.

Despite that, we should all take their word and not ask any questions or give any constructive criticism because if we do it means we are PBC shills that hate hearn and gbp.

Netflix was delivering tons of content either to your door or thru streaming. Movies were going to DVD everyday day. Netflix never had a dead month let alone a dead day. You have dead weeks with DAZN. The content isn't there to justify the price.
Netflix wasn't even a streaming service when they first started ffs bruh. They just mailed out DVD's. And they had ZERO content at the start. They were blockbuster with a po box basically.

But basically I'm just bringing up Netflix or HBO or other services at various points in time to try to get the concept across on how this can be a successful & profitable product at a future date. But yea there will be trials & tribulations & this wasn't going to be nor was it possible for this to be a W by now or will it be years from now just because its an emerging market just like HBO & Netflix were in at one time.

Showtime streaming has only been around for 1 year longer than DAZN. They already have 7 million subscribers.
Link to Showtime streaming having 7M paid subscribers? Only thing I'm seeing is CBS All Access & Showtime have a combined 8M subs.

Not that it'd super surprise me cuz Showtime is all over these days (via Hulu, Amazon iirc & YT + as a standalone app & thats just what I'm aware of) & cord cutting seems to have reached critical mass or is getting close to it.

But there is still a unknown company angle & new concept angle to what DAZN's hills to climb are that Showtime isn't fully dealing with. Even ESPN+ only has to content with the new concept angle of a live sports streaming app.

Showtime is also offering a different product then DAZN so to directly **** measure them makes zero sense. Mainstream content is always going to be more popular than specific sporting events (minus the super bowl probably). And Showtime offers more of that than DAZN. Showtime is an entertainment company. DAZN is a live sports company. Both who happen to stream.

But hey they are honest, quality human beings that just want boxing fans to get more fights. So we should all take their word and not ask any questions.
I don’t need to assure you anything about DAZN, it’s the trillest of the trill. I can assure you however the LDBC are the Liars Den Boxing Community.

The LDBC running around claiming 85K subs... is fake anti DAZN. You don’t look Apple’s App Store download count to go by subs...

Yea, that's why I said deliver content to your doorstep. I'm not saying Netflix itself was creating content. They were delivering content to your doorstep.

Showtime’s subscription service also shows the potential for significant growth. By 2022, the platform could have 9.086 million subscribers, a 29% increase from 3Q18, the bank predicts.
As entertainment rivals AT&T and Disney plan to launch new streaming services in 2019, CBS has emerged as a front-runner among its peers in direct-to-consumer streaming services by having the best mix in media, according to a recent report by BMO Capital Markets.

For some reason people discount boxing fans streaming fights on Showtime. They only look at the tv ratings That's the only way I've watched their fights since 2016

But you keep throwing out Lance who is simply assuming the live viewers is the same as subscribers which is not the same. Then you said that Bellator and the rest of DAZN isn't bringing in a subscribers which is just dumb. So far the most creditable person to speak on how many subscribers DAZN has is Evan Rutkowski

According to Evan Rutkowski, a former HBO executive, DAZN is close to 1 million subscribers and will likely reach that target on Cinco de Mayo weekend.
And the live viewers and ESPN reported revenue all lean towards it being likely they are at or close to 1M subscribers. Bellator alone sends DAZN their biggest fights that would normally be on PPV. And they have other content then just Canelo fights and like many told you already many who have DAZN either didn't watch it live (watched it ondemand after it was over) or were in Vegas or house parties etc. It's common sense there are more subscriptions DAZN has on top of the 600K live viewers because that's how streaming apps work the whole point of it is the convenience of being able to watch this or that and live or when you want. If you think any app not just DAZN has 100% of all their subscribers watching live at the same time you are just a phuking idiot and don't understand how subscription apps work.

So I ask you again how many subscribers you think they have stop dancing around and answer the question? Do you think it's 600K like Lance is saying and like you keep quoting then hiding behind saying well I'm not saying I said that or think that BS. Is it likely 1M or close to it or 600K? Lance is the LEAST creditable of anyone who have spoken on DAZN subscribers or their business. yes I put weight on a HBO exec and clout like Evan Rutkowski and Fat Boy Dan is quoting Revenue numbers that don't match up with 600K subscribers no matter how you try and spin it.

Less than 1 million is how many subscriptions I think they have.

                From the LA times yesterday:

Executives at the streaming service DAZN were thrilled Wednesday by an internal report that showed 1.2 million worldwide viewers for Saturday’s middleweight title victory by Canelo Alvarez.

Executives at the streaming service DAZN were thrilled Wednesday by an internal report that showed 1.2 million worldwide viewers for Saturday’s middleweight title victory by Canelo Alvarez.

Alvarez defeated Daniel Jacobs by unanimous decision to add a third middleweight belt to his collection.

It was Alvarez’s second fight on DAZN, after signing a 10-fight, $365-million deal with the subscription service late last year. The bout produced a peak U.S. audience of at least 600,000 subscribers, according to two industry sources not authorized to discuss such details publicly.

The fight also was available to stream in Austria, Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain and Switzerland.

DAZN launched in September and offers monthly or annual subscription packages. It started with England’s Anthony Joshua winning a heavyweight title defense. Executive chairman John Skipper said last month he hoped DAZN will surpass 1 million U.S. subscribers following its June 8 fight featuring former middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin.

DAZN’s revenue for the Alvarez-Jacobs bout was estimated to be near $50 million, according to the industry sources, which exceeded the $48 million in purse money owed to Alvarez and Jacobs.

DAZN offers a Bellator MMA card Saturday from Chicago and will stream Joshua’s three-belt heavyweight defense June 1 against California’s Andy Ruiz at Madison Square Garden.
                1. The revenue is clearly worldwide and not just the US.
                2. Skipper as of last month, prior to this fight, didn't expect Subs to pass 1 mil US until the GGG/rolls fight.

Now if he didn't think it would surpass 1 mil subs until June 8, that means it likely is a lot lower than you have been saying. I guess he is a DAZN hating butt hurt PBC shill as well.

Man GTFOH and go 69 with frankie0jobs. You lost alot of credibility between this and your defense of the problems people reported.

It is absolutely fair for any of us boxing fans to ask questions about how many subscriptions DAZN has sold.

who claimed it only sold 85k? I believe that as much as I believe you and bigliar1 that it is over 1 mil.

I have no vendetta against DAZN. Just looking to see how many US subs they've sold.
