I'm just glad people are finally talking about this fight, although it shoulda been this way at 154. But for me, Andrade's sealing his HOF position with this win. I'm just happy for him after such terrible promotion in an ironic way it's almost like he's getting an opportunity to fast track his greatness (after years worth of inactivity) in 1 fight!

Andrade knew he would have a tough time winning on the cards but he did because he landed the much better punches and more of them. Jack Culcay had some successes because he's better than people think ( see Derevianchenko) and so will Canelo because I believe Canelo is better than Culcey at this stage but Culcey paid a heavy price doing so will Canelo. In the end, the fight was a chess match but Culcey couldn't connect with anything meaningful, it's a fight Andrade clearly won.
That fight against Culcay is a bad measuring stick to judge on. He hasn't looked like that before or after again. Andrade was sick & it showed, cause Culcay did nothing impressive. That's not even a way to guage a fighter. It's like watching Saunders-Akavov over & over to determine who Saunders is. I personally haven't even seen that fight I just heard BJS looked bad. When assessing how he would do against top 160s I never cared about that fight tho.

The only jab canelo is going to feel anytime soon is the one from the HGH injection he just had

Look how close he had to get and how many times he got hit. If you gonna hit Canelo with the jab expect to get hit back. To triple G's credit he has a heavy jab

Yeah I heard that before Jacobs said the same thing and look how foolish he looked. What you going to do after that doesn't work?

This boy will stink up the joint and run from canelo bet the house on that. His jab will not be effective and he will not take any risks to do anything else. He going to fight Canelo "Jacobs Style" lol

It's not his jab but the way he uses his jab. Nothing textbook about it, he has an awkward gangly style that's hard to time.
You are right in how he uses it. But watch Canelo's defense for the jab. Not only he will duck, roll, go under, etc when he is jab, most of the time he is ready to counter. He has improved.

Andrade has to make the fight as boring as possible but you saw what happened with Lara

He is hard to hit with a jab plus he counters many ways if jabbed at.

He recognizes that he is the shorter guy so he has evolved to not let a jab dominate him.
Exactly. Other then Floyd NOBODY hits Canelo a lot or cleanly. Not even Lara who landed just a paltry 100 punches at 28% connect rate and just 22% of his jabs and disgraced himself running refusing to fight. And that was a much younger Canelo. He is much better at dealing with guys trying to run he will tax that body up. He is also great at slipping and deflecting jabs even GGG who is historically super high work rate offensive fighter with a high efficiency connect rate had every punch in his arsenal taken away by Canelo had some success with the jab but had his face pummeled in the process and the Mexican Style beaten out him as the price to pay and landed only landed 26% of his punches and only 21% of his jabs. Canelo slips and picks off most of that shyt. Folks need to put respect on Canelo's name with that defense. I'll say it again ONLY Floyd has been able to really hit Canelo. And he is much better fighter then he was then he has evolved into a complete fighter that can beat you many ways and fight at multiple distances. His ring IQ is super high and he is slick difficult to hit. The defense and the vicious counter punching is why you see elite fighter after fighter so shook and cautious when they fight him. Fans keep yelling at them to take risks but they don't because this happens when you do and these fighters rather lose by decision then go out on their shield/stretcher

Im not sure that announcing that you plan on stinking up the place is the best way to secure the fight.......
