Andrade believes he can beat Canelo and IMO he has the style, size and youth to do it. Andrade controls distance with his reach and legs far better then Danny and re-hydration is not a factor. Andrade is a very, very difficult style, he's cagey and hard to get close to and even if you slip inside he doesn't let you get off. Like Andrade or not, watch him closely and you'll notice he always takes away the inside game. Frankly Canelo might be up for it but I'm sure Oscar sees a big, more agile, fluid moving Vernon Forest, a style better off left alone.

If they do fight I suspect Andrade will be the only guy landing anything at all. It will be a stinker chess match but convincing enough.

I was surprized that Canelo took on Danny right up until I heard the hydration clause then went back and watched Jacobs fights again. He had problems with head movement but more importantly he seemed physically spent in his last few fights. After seeing Danny at the weight-in I knew Oscar did his homework.

To hit Canelo with the jab you got to get closer than you should or either aim to his chest or jab along the shoulder.

He is hard to hit with a jab plus he counters many ways if jabbed at.

He recognizes that he is the shorter guy so he has evolved to not let a jab dominate him.
