3 things I learned about Wilder this week.

He does watch their vidoe's, he is constantly repeating the same **** they say.You may not watch the videos, but it is clear that 90% of the Floyd/Wilder etc fans have the same talking points on various topics on here. 50% of the time they are reasonable.
But 50% of the time they are completely ridiculous. What is most probably happening is quite a few posters on here do get their talking points from those videos.
And because of the herd mind mentality, when one member of the group starts saying something, others in the group start parroting that talking point, even if it is ridiculous. But because others start saying the same thing, those people get a sense that they may be right and it comforts them.
The people making those videos and agreeing with them are just trying to tell themselves things to make themselves feel better. They don't really care about the facts, just the narrative that helps their feelings.
Again it is pretty clear that a lot of posters in that group get their talking points from somewhere because half of the things they say are very unreasonable and not supported, or directly refuted, by the facts. But to them it doesn't matter because the false narrative helps them sleep at night.Comment

When that happens its because a fact is a fact, regardless of what forum or site you are on. 2+2=4 everywhere you go.
Hearn lied about wanting to do the Wilder/AJ fight initially. You get that from any number of social media sites. You like Hearn/AJ so you call it bollocks. Doesn't change it.
not all people think alike because they look alike. But if you post something that is a lie or leave out a fact during a discussion, whether it be here, LDBC , on ESPN or anywhere else, you should expect to get called out for it. When you are, that isn't proof everyone thinks alike.Comment

Exactly. There is only 1 small corner of the internet that seems to grow these kinds of ideas and talk and nonsense and then within a day im reading the same stuff on here. We know where they get it from.Comment

He may - I just think another alternative is some posters on here (who don't watch the videos) start agreeing with the loud ones on here (who do watch the videos) because all the videos are doing anyway is giving people reasons (however ridiculous) to support their pre-established view.
They don't care about the facts, and once someone gives them a narrative to run with, they run with it, and they feel emboldened when others start sharing the same narrative. Makes them feel they are correct and gives them what they really want - a counter to the narrative that goes against 'their guy' (even if the narrative is completely crazy).Comment

Facts are not talking points. The reason things are similar is because the same lying race baiting tools that go to those sites then come here and post the same garbage and lies. people use the same facts on both sites to refute that.
How you find that as an indication of sharing the same talking points is unbelievably ignorant.
Give me an example of the "talking points" you are referring to.
Example-if I bring up Hearn lying about wanting to make the AJ/Wilder fight initially isn't based of something from another site, that is my conclusion after reading all the facts. When I post Haymon is blocking it now, same thing.Comment

So this only applies to "wilder/Floyd" fans and no one else?He may - I just think another alternative is some posters on here (who don't watch the videos) start agreeing with the loud ones on here (who do watch the videos) because all the videos are doing anyway is giving people reasons (however ridiculous) to support their pre-established view.

What about the posters that float the same lies and theories about these fighters, do they go to a racist website as well?Comment

Then i apologize sir. I never realized their complete horse **** and your complete horse **** being EXACTLY THE SAME HORSE **** was just a coincidence. Please accept my most sincere apologies.I don't watch their videos.

No I think Canelo fans in general are the same way. The difference is I think they don't watch videos to get their talking points - I think they just start coming out organically on these message boards and the hive mind thinking comes organically.
From what I have seen of the LDBC videos in the past, the points they make on their are very odd sometimes and then that exact point would catch on. Just seems like the talking points come from there often imo.
I think the 'Eastern Euro' fans' opinions are honestly more all over the place than a hive mind. There may be a lot of support for the same fighter(s) but the criticism of those fighters seems more varied to me. Seems like people in those groups have different opinions on fairly big issues (such as the scores in some GGG fights, or Loma fights, for example).Comment

Can you offer examples? Not sure exactly what you are getting at there to be honest.Comment
