He got injured so the WBC delegated him to diamond status and let Mikey fight that Zlaticanin dude for the vacant title, with the insurance that Linares would get to fight for that title. Linares went on to win the WBA title and he was set to fight Mikey also in a unification but Mikey went to fight Lipinets instead. So Linares fought Lomachenko.

And for Hearn, he gets a unfication bout on DAZN and get the Lomachenko fight in the UK and can put it on PPV on Sky Sports.

so far from what Ive checked luke campbell technically is in the number 1 spot at the wbc rankings.....


with loma being a champion of two other belts at that weight I do not see a problem with this fight.


For example if loma fought devin haney or lets say javier fortuna then it would be a problem cuz they are skipping campbell who's at number 1
