Teo is 2 steps closer from getting a title shot at WBC. He's one step closer from getting a shot at IBF. I think he'll go with the IBF this time. This is a good development imo

Yeah, I like it. Cut through the BS, get one undisputed champion and all comers have to fight him if they want to be a champion. It's the way boxing should always be and well, they aren't getting rid of all the belts any time soon. The only way you get the best vs the best is one champ. This should bode well for the division.

I hope this happens more often! Sucks for Devin Haney but hey if you want a Belt you're going to have to beat the VERY BEST in the Division and not Luke Campbell

DAZN bucks will get Haney shot at Commey. Possibly share card with Loma v Campell? Or Usyk appears with Loma on card?

man ALOT of you in here dont know how to fuggin read:
Silver champion Zaur Abdullaev must fight Devin Haney, and Teofimo Lopez must face Javier Fortuna. The winners of these matches will fight each other to determine the mandatory contender of the division.
Abdullaev vs Haney
Lopez vs Fortuna
Winners of that fight will fight each other....
and the winner of that fight gets the winner of loma vs campbell
again....
luke campbell is rated at number 1 in the wbc lightweight rankings

Lmao it wouldn't surprise me if he did.

Everybody wins you force Campbell or Haney to fight Loma next. Because going this route we all know Loma is never going to fight Abdullaev, Haney or whoever the WBC grants as mandatory for a long time. Now the next top contender after Campbell is stuck waiting 1-2 maybe even longer before they get their title shot. Does seem a little unfair.
