Comments Thread For: Joshua: Ruiz is Smarter, Quicker, More Accurate Than Jarrell Miller

IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua is expecting a very tough task when he faces late replacement Andy Ruiz next month. Ruiz officially stepped in last week to face Joshua on June 1 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

There is no doubt that Ruiz is a better boxer than Whyte. Not sure though if that difference is negated by Ruiz’s poorer physical condition.

Edit: read that wrong, I’ll stick to my off topic statement concerning Whyte but add that without PEDs we just don’t know what kind of fighter Miller is.

An in-shape Ruiz would probably be a cruiserweight.

I don't need to be sold on Ruiz as an alternate. This is a lateral move. Probably a better action fight tho.

Smarter? Why? Both self sabotage. Miller juicing to extent had to get caught, some weight issue, Ruiz adding obstacle of extra weight to hinder performance and have built in excuse

And Miller is bigger, stronger, has a better tank, upper body movement and a more intriguing style.

I don't agree with Ruiz Jr being more accurate either he constantly falls short. Its like he don't even realise he has T-rex arms but I get it you have to promote the fight.

I don't disagree with you, but on a side note I wonder how much of the strength and better endurance was a result of his ****tail of PEDs? I wonder what a non-juiced Big Baby would actually look like in terms of his fight style. These two attributes and his size were what won him alot of fights.

I prefer Andy's stile over Miller, but the latter looks stronger (thanks to gh, possibly).

AJ has better muscles and is bigger. He's not slow for the size, but Andy has better combos.

Fury would frustrate AJ. Ruiz has to try the same.
