    Yes or no?

The closest i can think of is Leonard vs Hagler
Rigo was P4P ranked higher, before, and longer than Loma, when Loma even entered the game.

Rigo wanted a 124 catchweight. Lomachenko was weighing in at 125 at his 126 fights. Rigo also put a 10lb weight limit the morning of their 130 fight.

So when Rigo wanted Loma back in 2014, was that fair to ask for 124 when Rigo was already P4P higher and respected by everyone?

Let me ask you so that others can read:

If Jacobs and GGG were bigger than Canelo in all these fights, is Canelo a ''big'' Middleweight? What is a small Middleweight?

Boxers struggled on same day weigh in back then? In those years calibration to maintain the weight was all done during camp. You're saying Lalonde in preparation for Leonard, his camp couldn't trim 7lbs in general?
Donny was a big guy, he couldn't healthily make 12stone,and Ray knew it. Losing 7lb is easy, unless its 7lb below the most healthy weight you can perform at. The energy loss completely negates the size advantage, same as Oscar against Manny, if the guys dead, he can have height and reach. Weight loss affects reflexes too, punch resistance. Its not the same as a guy fighting a bigger man, like Starling did against Nunn, who is effective at hes weight and has the size advantage, and to Marlons credit, giving him a good fight.

Lalonde weighed in two pounds heavier and taunted the legend saying, “I’m not only fighting an old welterweight, I’m fighting an old, fat welterweight.” Entering the fight though Lalonde was the underdog, as Leonard was the 3-1 favourite, but that didn’t faze the defending champion in the slightest.

When did Canelo fight Ward? Did I miss it?

GGG agreed to fight Froch in his backyard Nottingham, you know the guy who is much better than everyone currently at 168 and surely better than the paperbelt champ Rocky Fielding who got knocked in a round before Canelo faced him and Canelo also drained the poor dude, put a rehydration clause in his contract.

Even Ward ducked the Froch fight in Nottingham, GGG gladly took it, but Froch said GGG is too dangerous, hits like a mule and needs to be swerved like the plague and rather went on to face Groves.

                    Froch was being sarcastic...

The pre fight talk, part of the promotion is irrelevant. Lanonde had no wins of note below lightheavy, in this fight he was a full division below that weight on the day of the fight. Leonard was coming off hes biggest win at middleweight. Lanonde stated fairly well, flooring Leonard but was dead at the weight. Leonard had a few more successful appearances at supermiddle, Lanonde never did. Bad example of a man fighting a larger opponent, since Leonard wasnt in there against a man who was at hes optimal fighting weight. And that was the point of the catch weight in the first place.Yes,he took it for the money. Still a bad example.
