    Jacobs didn't make 170, so that's a non-sequitur. Canelo is just better.

Canelo was near 200lbs fight night. Canelo nut swingers defending the catch weight Queen in Canelo.

        Jacobs weight issue

Ok here is the thing they were fighting for titles in the middleweight division. That weight is listed as 160 pounds. To step intothe ring at 170,175 or 180 in my opinion is completely ridiculous. In the amateurs you weigh in the day of the fight and you have to be the actual weight of the weight pound class. I think the same should be done in the pros. There isn't a fighter in the entire world that steps into the ring weighing what they are supposed to and for his promoter to complain about its not fair he wasn't aloud to come into the ring at whatever weight he wants is just plain ******

All truth be told....I'm pretty sure Canelo was around the same weight if not more also. It was a very close fight and could have gone either way, neither fighter had any advantage.

              Canelo body transformation...Wow!!!

Those chiseled arms and lats were like I've never seen before. Don't know what Canelo new regime is but I've never seen him that chiseled before and such a major change from Sept. I'll just leave it at that. I'm not saying this to get a rise out of people but his body was noticeably different at 160.

What does that matter when Jacobs didn't do it anyway? Clowns like you will find anything to cry over. Jacobs failed "the culture" get over it.

Its not about the rules, it a contractual stipulation and no, it does not apply to Canelo. His weight is not restricted in any way. Not that it would have made much difference, TBH.

The point being made about overall fairness and how one side with more leverage creates an uneven playing field. Yes, they accepted it. Not that they had any choice not to if they wanted to make the fight.

Canelo fought a slightly lesser version of Jacobs than Golovkin did. The truth is that fighters like Canelo, influence the level of the playing field by buying advantages. This should not have a place in any legitimate sport but it does in boxing.
