Remember Nacho famously said Canelo is a illusion and will never accomplish anything in boxing. Then said Angulo will beat Canelo, said GGG would knock him out and end his career, basically picks him to lose every fight and even when he is proven wrong and Canelo wins trashes his performances. That's why I love that Canelo phuked up Chavez Jr and embarrassed Mr Magoo who was training Chavez.

Marquez hate for Canelo goes WAY back it is due to him ALWAYS having felt like he deserved to be the star with megabucks instead of Canelo,& its been evident that hes envious of his recent success just like Chavez snr to some degree.

The ENTIRE espn spanish language crew which are know nothing casuals plus Chavez snr (who sometimes goes along with their bs)hate on Canelo 24/7. Faitelson (the leading know nothing imbecilic mexican ***ish gaylord) has come out many times saying he absolutely HATES canelo to the ends of the earth,& its evident to me that the sportscasters in mexico are willing to use someone like canelo to get them ratings & keep them employed,as well as give them exclusive interviews,yet at every possible opportunity they will sht on him for anything & everything they regurgitate from internet fanbois.

The entire Mexican sportscaster profession is full of hatred for ANY mexican athletes that are megastars in the USA or UK. I've been watching spanish language programing for years to look at the beautiful ladies & to see the only boxing show that exists almost.

I had Canelo winning 8-4. I could see 7-5 but that's being generous IMO. I also dont believe Jacobs did enough in the late rounds (like many think) to have made it more competitive. Slow start or whatever, he wasn't going to outbox Canelo. He didnt do enough to "take it" from Canelo. Its also funny how people dont talk about how sharp Canelo's defense looked. He made him miss... bet you one thing though, if that was Floyd making someone miss punches in bunches they'll happily give him that round. Either way, the fight was decent at best.
