I agree that Canelo displayed some of the most masterful upper body defense I've ever seen but where was his offense last night? He had trouble finding, timing, landing and putting his punches together against Danny Jacobs. Why? If he was able to put his punches together, then chances are he would have probably stopped or KO Jacobs. However, the fight was largely a boring jabbing contest.

No seriously if you watched the fight, Canelo landed body shots. “Canelo has problems with movers...”I agree that Canelo displayed some of the most masterful upper body defense I've ever seen but where was his offense last night? Canelo beat Jacobs in all compubox categories. I don’t analyze why Loma couldn’t KO Pedraza or why Crawford couldn’t KO Postol...or to say “where was the offense there?” If you’re trying to say offense gives KOs. Jacobs is significantly bigger in ratio than Postol or Pedraza if you know what I mean..

Let me touch up on that point. You said that Canelo has trouble with movers. Then how do you expect him to fare against Demetrius Andrade; The movers of all movers? How does he matches up with him?Comment

I gave you quotes. That means it’s whats said by many...and I think Jacobs is a better mover than Andrade. Andrade looks good against those he’s fought, but how much of a threat were they and were any of them master counter punchers? I don’t see Andrade as a threat to Canelo. Canelo keeps getting better each fight.Comment
