Canelo was making the fight exciting...He was the one pressuring AND connecting. Jacobs was too busy running away from the fight and trying to figure a way to get his punches off without being countered. He started to flurry at the end of the rounds later in the fight in order to steal the rounds but he was back pedaling and not throwing much during the first 2/3 of the rounds. It was Canelo that was trying to make it a war. Canelo was the hunter and Jacobs was the prey. Kind of strange that a big, talented fighter like Jacobs was mostly trying to avoid conflict.....On second thought maybe not....Jacobs just didn't have the precision or speed that Canelo possesses ...Neither does Jacobs have the chin and mentality of Canelo.....BUT, I do believe Jacobs is a damn good fighter.
