You really think compubox just botched it and missed punches that Jacobs was landing. I think it's hilarious he landed only 20% but sure if it helps you sleep thinking there is some conspiracy and that he really landed 40% of punches. Meanwhile anyone eyes could see he was badly missing all night and the punch stats back that up

I certainly don’t subscribe to conspiracy theories lol. I saw Jacobs controlling distance, engaging up close when he wanted to for the second half of the fight. I saw Canelo backing up to the ropes rounds 8-10. I saw Canelo have problems with Jacobs in the southpaw stance. I agree that a lot of the flicking jabs didn’t seem to have much power, but to say he was only landing 1 of 4? The body work by Jacobs I thought was effective and that he probably slowed Canelo down quite a bit. Am I to believe compubox or my lying eyes? This fight ranged somewhere between 7-5 either way or 6-6

How can you control the distance when the other guy landed more punches, more jabs more body shots, more power shots and doubled the connect rate he hit you? You didn't need compubox to tell you jacobs couldn't land and was missing badly but the numbers just so happen to debunk everything you saying as well as anyone with 2 eyes LMAO

E.g. arguments that canelo won the round because he outlanded jacobs in power shots

No power shot is the same

Canelo and jacobs landed 9 each in the 9th round but jacobs landed a huge shot. Even if canelo had landed a few more average shots would you give the round to canelo or jacobs? You dont even know how to answer

If canelo is p4p 1 then ggg and jacobs should be in your top 5 since the fights were so close..
But jacobs wont feature that high

            People are fanboys

If canelo wasnt popular he would have at least 1 loss vs ggg. And he wouldnt be considered by some as p4p

So if you get to the crux of it, people are holding in canelo in high regard because he has fans

Its pathetic and indicative of how dumb people are when it comes to boxing
Wow so now your saying compubox is lying. That's(compu- box) not managed by people but an accurate and fair assessment done without regard to who is fighting. I'm not sure if you understand defense in boxing. When Canelo was backing up to the ropes he was doing that on purpose. He wanted to display is ability to dodge a nd parry punches. I am very well schooled in the art. My entire family has been involved with boxing as long as I can remember. I boxed my brothers boxed my father boxed I think I have a great understanding

How’d you score the fight? Because those compubox numbers would have you believe it was damn near a shut out and even the judges didn’t score it that way, so yes, I trust my eyes

8-4 maybe 9-3. The judges shaded rounds to jacobs because I don't know maybe because Jacobs wouldn't stop crying about judges BEFORE the fight and media wouldn't stop talking about the judges. So the judges didn't want to give canelo too many rounds and have idiots bytch and complain after the fight it was too wide so they shaded and gave any round they could to Jacobs to keep their scorecards as close as they could. And still you ended up with the judges giving 7-5 and 8-4 to canelo when if not for all complaining the fight was in reality more a 8-4 to 9-3 fight which the compubox leads to more as well. Either way canelo clearly won and compubox isn't just refusing to count punches for Jacobs lol

Honestly, friend, trust your eyes, but go back and watch it again. No beer, no smoking, volume down maybe. You will not see what you've written above. Jacobs did none of that.
