If the cvnt gave enough, the interview would be much different. He didn't keep his word. That's why he lost.

What a sorry showing by Jacobs and his whole team. Cornermen ****** rozier not giving good advice at all, old man with a man bun didn’t even know how to work the spit bucket. Jacobs came out fighting scared and when he did throw he threw slapping girly punches that looked ridiculous. If I were him I’d stay the F outta Brownsville

This was supposed to be the defining fight of Danny Jacobs' career. I expected to see a lot more fire and desire from him.

He didn't do anywhere near enough to win. There were flashes here and there, but you can't be half hearted when the opportunity of a lifetime comes knocking. You have to seize the moment and he didn't.

I like Danny but just as in the Golovkin fight, hes weakness was hes accuracy. He has trouble hitting anyone who moves their head, gets outjabbed when maybe he shouldn't, and doesnt have a high enough output. He should move up and try for Eubank Jnr.Would be a good fight.

yeah wtf was that, there was a blue spit bucket and then some guy telling the corner they cant use that bucket no more and have to use another bucket. Dont know what was going on because freaking DAZN doesnt show the corners the whole time like HBO/showtime used to. Showing commercials for their other crap, showing tecate commercials and showing that ****** guy that made their 24/7 knock off over and over again like we care who produced their 24/7. Show the damn corners inbetween rounds! I paid for DAZN already you dont need to promote future fights in between rounds.

Like many who have previously commented, felt like Jacobs was doing just enough to lose the rounds. The fight just seemed very pedestrian to me; no urgency, no drama and not particularly violent. When GGG fought Canelo, regardless how you scored it, it felt like both fighters were trying to seriously hurt the other.

I'm guessing Andrade is next for Canelo and then the plan is for GGG part 3.

Jacob is the new Khan without the knockouts highlight reels.

How he believes he won that fight is beyond me.

Rozier kept telling him to reset and slow the fight down. Wtf kindve advice is that. Could the fight get any slower. After the first round I would’ve been like ok you felt him out now go try to knock him out don’t let the rounds go by and him get comfortable.

Canelo has gotten a few gift decisions in boxing but this wasnt one of them Danny. You deff didnt win. 7 - 5 or 8 - 4 Nelo. Nelo looked good last night, his head movement is next level. His def is so underappreciated. Jacobs did come on strong in the 2nd half but it was too little too late. If he fought from the opening bell how he did through rounds 8 - 12 he would have done better overall but "if" has never won anything.

Canelo didn't seem too keen on the idea of fighting Andrade next when the question came up in the post fight interview. Andrade is a younger faster stronger and longer fighter than the ones that gave Nelo trouble. If Lara beat Nelo and got robbed like most believe, than Andrade is a very bad matchup for him because Andrade, a southpaw, can do what Lara did but with more power behind it. Would be a good fight but also has the potential to be a boring one due to styles.
