That's a pretty good resume at this stage.

Canelo has a very good resume. But Mosley was shot, Cotto and Khan weren't MW's, he lost emphatically to Floyd, and he was lucky to get results over Lara and GG.
    Whyte? Breazeale??? Takam?

That's not a good resume. Those are just heavyweight names. I'm surprised you didn't throw Charles Martin in there too.

      What are you talking about?

Joshua is obviously a HW. So yes, of course they are HW names.

If Wlad came back he'd be a top 10 fighter. He was a top 5 fighter when Joshua beat him.

Parker is a top 10 fighter.

Povetkin was a top 5 fighter.

Whyte is a top 5-10 fighter.

      That's a good resume for a HW.

Those wins are as good as beating Jacobs and GG at MW.

Except when he dropped a lucrative rematch against Lara.
Except when he literally dropped his belt not to fight GGG.

Not really because GGG was the best in the division for a while. The names you mentioned are just guys that fight at heavyweight, they have never been the top dog of the division.

So no, the wins aren't as good. Joshua doesn't belong in the conversation of best resumes with Canelo and Pacquiao.

Lucrative..and Lara. Oh no you di’int. Lol. There isnt a soul on earth who wanted to watch Lara’s negative ass again.

Canelo didn’t beat Lara. Lara beat Lara.

He fought GGG a year later...not like 5, 6 years.

GGG’s was always going to be past prime when Canelo got into the ring with him because haterism. People would be singing a way different tune had GGG sparked him and Jacobs but it came by no coincidence that GGG seemed “slower” and “old” when he fought dudes with actual speed and wills.

The agenda is downright ridiculous. GGG while a fine fighter is literally not even the best fighter Canelo has ever shared the ring with so for people to say he’s ducking anyone is always laughable. The guy has been seeking out the best fighters for 5+ years now and is still only 28.

At Spence’s current rate, he’ll never have fought that many good fighters. GGG never did either.

People don’t like Canelo because it’s the fun thing to do but it’s ridiculous because he’s one of the only men in the sport who actually tries to give us what we want. The dude even altered his entire fight style in GGG 2 because people said he fought off the backfoot.

We should be glad the guy doesnt hide behind his promoter. Some of you guys don’t deserve ginger boy or big fights.

Yes, GG was the best in the division. But Canelo got a draw and a win over him. And most people had GG winning the first fight.

Jacobs isn't an elite fighter. He's just a top MW fighter, just like how Wlad and Pov etc were top HW fighters.

Whyte and Parker are good HW's, and they were prime and undefeated. Those wins are definitely as good as beating Jacobs.

Canelo does have a great resume for his age. But I can't rate wins over the likes of Khan and Cotto highly.

Jacobs gave the top guy in the division (Golovkin)
all he could handle, though. With some broadcasters even giving him the win.

Can't say the same for any of the names on Joshua's resume outside of Klitschko.

He's off to a good start building a legacy but he isn't in the conversation yet.

It all depends on how highly you rate both Jacobs and GG.

Yes, Joshua is definitely in the conversation for which active fighter has the best resume.

He has a good resume but there are a few names in that list that were way past their expiration date. If that wasn't bad enough, he will always have that asterisk next to all them fights after the PED scandal. I really wish the PED thing never happened.

Pacquiao is still active, thus his resume is better than Canelo's....
