I personally consider Crawford #1. But, I think most of the guys near the top have better resumes. In my own little boxing universe. There’s a difference between a P4P King and a P4P #1. A P4P King is unquestioned. A P4P #1 is a guy that’s at the top of the list either by default, or at the top when there’s other guys that can make a legit argument for being the top guy. To me, the last P4P King was Floyd. I thought Ward came the closet to cementing himself as the P4P King since Floyd retired. But Ward retired immediately after his biggest win. I like Crawford the best right now. But because of boxing politics, he’s gonna have a tough time getting that defining win that makes him the unquestioned P4P King.

if he unifies yeah, beating Jacobs and Andrade, two champs in their prime is good, and if he beats charlo even better,,,it looks like he just might face those three guys that someone here once said canelo would never do...I really don't care if he faces golovkin unless he does have a beltComment

If gift decisions bump you up the rankings, fair enough.
I have no problem with him being p4p no.1 if we go by what it says on the record. It's just we know that he lost 2 of his last 3 fights, especially one of them.
If we go by the record, then no problem. His best "win" v GGG is far better than any win by Crawford or Lomachenko.
What's Crawford's best win? a shot Khan? a midget Gamboa? Postol? It's fair to say none of them compete with victories over Lara, GGG, Cotto and others, even if some of them were questionable decisions.
As much as people tend to over rate him a bit because he’s strong though never stopped a top opponent(ggg) Postol at the time was comparable to Ggg and he was just as “avoided” cotto was at the end of his rope and smaller tbh. I rock with canelo that’s my guy and I love watching him counterpunch the shhhiii out of dudes even his many tailor made mismatches. But truth be told let’s not act like he hasn’t avoided/waited out certain fighters in his career.
Although I blame golden boy he’s had too too many controversial decisions in order for me to give him 1# and this is coming from someone who’s paid to watch him perform and will again no matter who he fights. But please miss me with the bsComment
