His resume is far tougher than majority of boxers & hes a skillful boxer that lacks a bit of power, but imho he could've easily been given the W over Charlo despite looking like a dwarf alongside him.

Lara beat red azz. Triple G also beat him, twice.

The title of the article is misleading.

Jacobs didn't say "other than Mayweather", he said "since Mayweaher".

        There's a difference.

Having said that, Jacobs is talking out his ass. If Mayweather was prime at 36 then GGG was also prime.

Also, Canelo faced Lara after Mayweather, who was in his prime.

Sorry, DJ. Nelo's resume takes a nuclear dump on your resume.

I bet you GGG won't be asking Nelo for that Mexican work in the 3rd fight

(IF GGG survives his fight with Rolls )

Jacobs must take this decision away from the judges.

If TBE was prime at 36.....then he beat a prime Triple G...and lets just forget about "Pretty Boy" true prime

Mayweather was at least 4 or 5 years removed from his prime.

Once he returned in 2009 to fight JMM, he wasn't quite the same fighter as he was in 2007 and before but he was still the best even past his prime

I agree that Floyd was in his prime. Just like he was against Guerrero, Maidana and Pacquiao.

the one and only time Floyd showed signs of decline was in his final fight against Berto

Floyd showed us the blueprint for having a long ass prime in boxing:

                      - rest a lot
                      - take long vacations, specially when your division is full of danger
                      - avoid wars
                      - have a ***** ass defensive style
                      - have an antidoping organization in your pocket, so you can cheat while your opponents can't

                      lmao what a casual

Age isn't the only factor to determine a fighter's "prime"

ring wars and taking damage can shorten your prime a lot. In fact, you can become shot after just ONE brutal fight

Floyd was in no ring wars ever, that's one of the reasons his prime was long af

Pacquiao is a warrior, so he had more wear and tear than Floyd when they fought, even if Floyd was older

Erik Morales was in many rings wars, so he was shot to **** at the age of 30yo

meanwhile, Marquez who was more defensive minded and not as much blood/guts warrior as Morales, was fighting at world level and still not shot at 38yo, when he KOd Pacquaio.
So then, by your logic, GGG, who fought nothing but bums his entire career and therefore had no wear and tear, must have been prime when he fought Jacobs and Canelo, right?
