Crawford is far too dangerous at 147, Spence needs to avoid Crawford & move up in 2020. Spence needs to remain undefeated and move up to 154 in 2020. That's the plan, period. Now you can say you now know the plan too.

Spence shouldn't play the race card but it's not him it's Al Haymon, it's all he's got to explain why Spence refuses to fight Crawford. The key, the idea, is to keep the conversation about Arum vs Haymon and not Spence avoiding Crawford.

It's a business people, Spence will have the leverage in money talks when they do fight. He have the three belts and hold the cards.... everything else about "ducking", yada yada yada, is just noise...
Crawford is obviously loyal but it made no sense for him to resign with Arum without at least talking with Haymon. He would've been right in the mix. Bad business decision. O well. There's a reason guys like Floyd, Garcia, PAC jumped ship from Arum to Haymon, it seems he has fighters financial health in mind. Who could be mad at that, objectively speaking. We all know the politics sucks but until there is some sort of central governing body like all other major sports to dictate things, this is the reality. Lobby your congressman I say! Lol

Fact...Spence is move to 154 in 2020...like it or not he can't make weight. BUT he needs to remain undefeated and Crawford at 147 is simply too dangerous.

Bob Arum started pushing all these in-house fights because he had all the big money fighters. He told everyone else to "F##$" off. But now the tables have turned. His precedent is now biting him in the @ss.

Now he needs the other promoters to make money for his fighters. He's overpaying for fights he knows no one cares about and the very same people he crapped on are now ignoring him. You wreap what you sow.

I want to see the top figters fight each other in their prime, but Bob Arum caused this. Oscar left, to be his own man. Floyd left to be his own man and get the money and fights he wanted. Cotto left on good terms, but still to be his own man and get the fights he wanted. Mickey left, to be his own man. Notice the pattern here. Bob is the common denominator when it comes to fights not getting made.

Spence is just saying out loud what everyone that follows boxing already knows. Crawford is a fantastic fighter but he either didn't think the offer he chose through, didn't know the history of Haymen and Arum, or just didn't care and took the paydays over legacy. He wont see a PBC fighter for the next 2 years short of some insane offer that Bob will never go for.

The business...model is remain undefeated at 147 and move to 154 in 2020. Call out Crawford for peanuts with a weight advantage. To a business man it's smart, to a boxing fan it's a duck.

Question: Are you about business or about the best fighting the best? Can't have it both ways.
