Shouldn't he then share this #1 on P4P list with GGG if you concede that based on the second fight between the two, neither convincingly proved to be superior over the other?

Level of competition is a matter of the past, you don't get included into P4P based on the past, all it matters is how you are now.

P.S. First fight GGG was a clear winner, but in the 2nd the gap between them was much smaller.

I disagree. I never conceded that. I personally thought Canelo clearly won the second fight without question and GGG's level of competition is not up to par. He's only really fought 2 top guys his entire career and never moved up or down in weight to challenge himself.

A vast majority of boxing professionals, fans and pundits would disagree about "clearly won" because the fight was clearly very close. But that's not the point.

What are the criteria to get on P4P list? Only who you fought? To me P4P is a reflection of fans' appreciation of the level of skill first and foremost. And in this department Loma beats Canelo. And if you want to talk about level of achievement and who fought whom, Loma's achievement in his pro career is unparalleled, if not unprecedented. And he did not beat C-level fighters either.
