There's only plan A for Jacobs: box behind that jab and keep your distance. Anything else and you're losing.

Danny's plan A should have been to not fight Canelo in Vegas.

That said Canelo is a cat who can change his plan of attack to. I mean ffs how many fights have you seen where a guy fights like Canelo did in his first fight with GGG & then fights him like he did in the second fight which is a complete reversal of the how he did it in the first fight? Idk, but not a whole lot of f#cking times I know that much. Canelo is a versatile mfer himself with multiple ways to win.

Either way however many plans mfers got or don't got I think this will be a fun fight.
EXACTLY and this is why Canelo should be p4p #1 in the world!!! His level of competition and ability to switch styles.

I agree with this I think Canelo is the best righ now period. He has proven it.

Shouldn't he then share this #1 on P4P list with GGG if you concede that based on the second fight between the two, neither convincingly proved to be superior over the other?

Level of competition is a matter of the past, you don't get included into P4P based on the past, all it matters is how you are now.

P.S. First fight GGG was a clear winner, but in the 2nd the gap between them was much smaller.

So I just read that the same judges that did the Canelo vs ggg 2 will be the same judges in this Jacobs better go for the knock out or at least knock his ass down 15 times throughout the 12 rounds

                    Plan C - Trapping Nelo into a DQ ?!?!?

'' "What I know is that I have the physical advantages and I hope to use my physical advantage, my reach, height, distance, and also that I have speed, power, intellect in the ring, just as I feel that is what will allow me to emerge victorious." ''

Sounds like something Khan always says

Now I know this is going to be a UD W for Nelo. DJ isn't going to follow that heat and only sporadically exchange with him, to save face. After the 116-110 scores have been read, he will insist it was just another Nelo job. DJ will not go for the KO making it difficult for Nelo to get his.
Well obviously you are joking with his plans A B and C.

Obviously he can't KO Canelo. He backed up against GGG most of the fight, being about two divisions larger. And he got knocked down also. AFAIK he has been knocked to the canvas AT LEAST three times including Pirog rendering him unconscious, the first time he was able to clearly hit him.

Out-boxing Canelo??? No way. Canelo is a better boxer than him and he knows it. He doesn't throw that much but he connects close to 50% of what he throws, and most of what he throws are power punches to the body, so that is very hard to beat.

A DQ is a joke, Canelo has never been a cheater as in a clincher, pusher, a low-hitter, a head-butter, none of those. He doesn't need any tricks to punish Jacobs, if he was able to punish GGG real hard in the 2nd fight and back him up most of the fight, a feat nobody else has ever done.

Now, the 2nd part of your comment WHEN YOU GET SERIOUS I agree, Jacobs will not "go for the KO" because he just can't do it, he has way less power than GGG and the latter did nothing at all to Canelo in two complete 12-round fights.

What is most likely to happen is that after possibly the 2nd or 3d round when Jacobs starts feeling the body punishment, he will start backing up and keep that the rest of the fight, I mean survival mode. But I still think Canelo will knock him down at least once.

So yes, a UD sounds about right, but no controversy this time, this is Jacobs, not GGG and THERE ARE LEVELS in boxing, so even if Jacobs comes in way bigger than Canelo, he will still be punished, just wait and see.

There are 3 ways a fight can end, excluding draws -

                      KO/TKO
                      Dec
                      DQ

DJ's best chance is the KO/TKO route. He even stated how judges tend to give Nelo every benefit there is. So in my mind, he has to go for the KO/TKO.

How does he plan on doing this ?!?! Throwing punches, setting traps. Even if he sets traps, he's going to have to engage. So that's a single plan.

When he mentioned 20+ other plans, this tells me he's hsd time to think about his strategy. GGG dared Nelo to trade. GGG left the ring needing extra large sunglasses.

Danny's chin isn't about that kind of work.

He will test Nelo early and find out it's easier to talk about doing damage. After he finds out his power is not bothering Nelo, he's going to resort to winning on the outside.

Thusly, leaving the outcome in the hands of the people he swears are against him.

Who knows. maybe DJ does go for the KO/TKO. Won't get it but it will make for a very entertaining fight. In the end, it's better to fight in spurts and leave up to the judges, so one can cry about it later. If you get KTFO, no one to blame really.

                      Nelo UD W 8-4.
