Canelo was able to make the adjustment after a year between fights, coming up with a new game plan with his coach and experience knowing that he could take gg's punches. Do you think he will be able to do it on the fly?

With 5 years between fights the 1st fight to 2nd fight was a rare flip of styles.

But I think Canelo has shown versatility before to.

Canelo is a quality all around guy more than he gets credit for. I was not impressed with Canelo for a long time & I was super critical of him avoiding GGG for too long, but he's grown into his current level well.

As far as this week goes I think I know more about what Canelo can do in the ring & I'm more curious what Jacobs can do at this level. I'm hoping & rooting on Jacobs impressing me & others.

I trust Rozier in the corner more than Abel & Jacobs is right up there with GGG in talent/skill so I think they do got multiple plans as they should going into a life changing fight like this. If you don't got a plan b, c & so on you maybe aren't taking it as seriously as the opportunity is.

That said Canelo is a cat who can change his plan of attack to. I mean ffs how many fights have you seen where a guy fights like Canelo did in his first fight with GGG & then fights him like he did in the second fight which is a complete reversal of the how he did it in the first fight? Idk, but not a whole lot of f#cking times I know that much. Canelo is a versatile mfer himself with multiple ways to win.

Either way however many plans mfers got or don't got I think this will be a fun fight.

You are right on the money here. Alvarez is the best fighter in boxing right now. I like Jacobs a whole lot, but can’t pick against Alvarez right now CE anybody at 160/168.

Danny Jacobs has a lot of talent and many physical advantages over Canelo. He has a decent shot of pulling an upset. Danny is clearly the sentimental favorite among the American audience. As much as some people hate Canelo, I can see they are grudgingly him his due as a fighter and are already making excuses in anticipation of a Jacobs loss. Canelo has consistently improved over his last 6 or 7 fights. Jacobs has pretty much peaked. I think Canelo will continue to disappoint the haters with a decisive win over Danny on Saturday night

He lost the first fight by four rounds IMO so that wasn't a game plan as much as it was a disaster. Fighting the fight you should have fought in the first place isn't a stroke of genius.

Plan A - Obviously to overpower Nelo with a KO/TKO
Plan B - Show how multi faceted he is by out boxing Nelo.

Plan C - Trapping Nelo into a DQ ?!?!?

Now I know this is going to be a UD W for Nelo. DJ isn't going to follow that heat and only sporadically exchange with him, to save face. After the 116-110 scores have been read, he will insist it was just another Nelo job. DJ will not go for the KO making it difficult for Nelo to get his.

He did not have to, he won both fights and was robbed.

"Canelo" is gonna hurt Jacobs with any shot including the jab from RD. 1. Until the ref decides to jump in. (Weight will be used as an excuse of sorts on Danny's side)

Alvarez is no "One Punch" KO artist at this WT. Class but Jacobs will make him appear to be... Anticipating a weak Jacobs taking a punishing 4 or 5rds.
