Bolio, I know you appreciated what you saw last night. You and I and others here are a long time boxing fans, although we disagree at times.

Estrada now is the best fighter in the world, no one else is even close. I'm talking about boxing skills. The guy he was fighting was a stronger, bigger fighter, with skills and grit. I had him beating him the first time and this time he almost whitewashed him, with style.

He's the first fighter in all boxing I can now comfortably say is GREAT.

Canelo had grown into a full middleweight by the time he fought GGG. His 154 pound days were over. I do think Canelo is better Than Estrada by his boxing record and the consistent excellence of his fights and he always learns and improves fight after fight. He has defeated more champions and famous fighters.
Two fighters can weigh the same at the weigh in but that dont mean they are the same size. Mikey Garcia bulked up for Spence but does that make him a WW? Not to compare those fighters but just an example.

GG is a career MW who boils down to 160 while Canelo had to move up. GG is naturally bigger, taller and has longer reach so he does have advantages.

This is the same reason why very few people gave him a shot to beat GG.

Based on what? Estrada hasn't beaten someone as skillful as ginger. Gallo's biggest advantage would be his footwork, and Canelo has faced and beaten people with even better footwork before *points at the pic above*

only you and Rugnvisai's momma could actually think that

Loma schooled Rigo and made him quit like a *****, same Rigo everybody considered the second coming of boxing Jesus. he also beat Gary Rusell, who was considered the next black hope for muricans. both in dominant fashion.

Canelo barely won a decission over GGG and many ppl still believes he got a gift. had he beaten GGG in dominant fashion, I'd have to consider him P4P#1, but right now I have to place him behind King Loma

Canelo has better power, better combinations, best body punching in the game, better defense, and he's also one of the best counter punchers. I'd say Canelo is overall more skilled, it's just his cement feet that tend to be a problem, but he's improving in that sense, and also stamina wise, as the 2nd GGG match proved

ginger was victim of contaminated meat. how else do you explain Canelo having MORE stamina in the GGG rematch than in the first fight, where he was supposedly on PEDs?
Many fighters have come in with a sombrero. GGG was doing that outside the ring...

Didnt you guys say that Estrada lost to Roman because he had to starve himself to 112? But now he faced a bigger and stronger Sor at 115? Lol which is it?

If you look at all these so called P4P boxers, you'll see all their last fights were cans. Not Estrada. What a heart, determination, toughness. Respect.

Even though he won last night, I feel Estrada is in the decline at his young age, when SSR turned southpaw, I didn't see Estrada make any adjustments, he's lucky SSR fought orthodox for the majority of the fight. In a rematch, I'll take SSR.

To answer the question, two years ago, Estrada easy, today, probably Canelo.

Canelo is the best Mexican fighter in the planet and top 5 p4p world.

Estrada barely cracks top 10 and Luis Nery and Miguel Berchelt have legit claims for #2 but Canelo is clearly #1.

Rung was beaten with his southpaw style the first time, but it was close. This time he tried orthodox with a mix of southpaw, he was soundly beaten out of his senses in that style, too. He was almost done at times. I don't wanna see a 3rd fight.

Props to Estrada. You’ll have guys always talk about judges and the usual cliche observations because others say it you stick with it. Be it Cotto, Lara, Trout, Golovkin...

Most of the Canelo haters can’t find instances where Canelo fights sloppy and makes ******ed mistakes... the eye test, movement, defense, punch accuracy and combination... Canelo is the real deal.

To put perspective Estrada’s style is easy for Canelo to figure out. Canelo is the best counter puncher in the game. That requires the highest level of Ring intuition in defense and when to strike back.
