Turned David Haye from a crude, ****y slugger into a Unified champion, two-weight champion, etc etc. Better than taking crude slugger GGG, and turning him into crude slugger GGG.

lol GGG is definitely no crude slugger. He's a pressure fighter but with a lot of skills. He has good footwork, effective jab and punch placement.

The only reason why Golovkin did well with him was b/c he was a honorary mexican, so he embraced the mexican style well. Golovkin clearly gave Abel a crap offer b/c he wanted to change trainer. Abel should be glad he had the privileged to ride Golovkin's gravy train.

Chocalatito never trained with him. Abel was never his head coach. Gassiev is still with him.

There is something to that. Sanchez complaining after the second Canelo/Golovkin fight that Golovkin went away from their "game plan". Their game plan appeared to be that Golovkin should simply come forward relying on his chin. When that plan didn't appear to work so well Sanchez had nothing to offer.

Abel would have made a good WW1 general. Just keep sending more men into the meat grinder till some get through.

GGG's ancestors fought both world wars using this gameplan. the Russians are famous for it in fact.
