I think he is overrated as a trainer. GGG was already excellent when he started training him. He was a great amateur with hundreds of amateur fights just like Loma so he knew how to fight. If he thought Abel was that helpful he would have kept him. He thinks he can do better. Joyce left him quickly.

The talk was never that Golovkin joined Sanchez's camp, he joined Sanchez's gym. Great facilities are important to fighters. For Golovkin that wasn't an issue until the Canelo rematch (which he won).
