Juan Francisco Estrada is the new JMM

Great win and nice performance from El Gallo. His boxing skills was definitely shades of Juan Manuel Marquez who was a boxing artist. IMO I think Estrada is a better fighter than Canelo and deserves to be Top 5 P4P. I think it’s a shame that Estrada is not as popular as Canelo because of his weight class.

Hope to either see a final fight with Sor Rungvisai, or a match up with Donnie Nietes or Jerwin Ancajas in the future.

Great win indeed, but nowhere near Marquez, technically. The good news is that el Gallo is substantially young compared to Marquez legacy, so maybe in the future most definitely. Great win indeed

Crybaby 2.0 ??? Hope not. Have we forgotten how annoying the original Crybaby was with his claims & complaints?

He fights in a weak division. A lot of western men who had a good diet when they were brought up cant compete in them divisions. Adult males arent meant to weigh that little. Im not saying they wouldn't beat the **** out of me or trying to insult them im just saying a huge amount of developed nations are excluded from them divisons like the Americans and Europeans. It's usually third world nations like mexico and Asians who are naturally small who fight there whereas jmm proved his class in normal divisions

Eerily similar styles and stories. For the better or worse, he is under Canelo's shadow even though he is a much better fighter who clearly beat his opponent. Estrada is my favorite fighter today with a beautiful technique and an awesome victory. It could be argued he won his first match too against SSR. By the way, did anyone notice el Gallo looked like JMM in the weigh-in in profile view?

I was going to say the same thing. Great boxers that cry so much when they get a legit loss with a bunch of excuses.

Actually, I believe that he is technically more skilled than Marquez

A Lot of people in México (talking about boxing fans) think that Juan is the better fighter

                  But he is not famous.

                  Estrada is an artist.

His skills and boxing is pretty beauty

                  His footwork too.

And Yep, he has a similar style than Juan Manuel but Juan Manuel was a better counterpuncher and was better in combinations

But Juan has a better footwork
