I have a feeling Pacquiao will retire if he defeats Thurman.

If he doesnt take damage, he could easily fight Mikey for another payday. Then retire.

Do you think he can do better than Josesito Lopez? Because if Pacquiao can win a couple more rounds than Josesito did then he just might win the fight.

If he beats Thurman his stock will rise, and he'll fight Mikey Garcia. Then, if he beats Mikey, he'll cash out with a fight against Spence or a catchweight fight with Gervonta Davis .

Spence and/or Mikey would be great if he gets past Thurman and does not take major damage. I have to disagree with Gervonta though. He would not even fight Loma or someone decent at 130 or 135. Davis is even skeptical bout moving up to 135 let alone fight pac at catchweight.

Davis said he wanted to fight Pacquiao to avenge Broner.

If Pacquiao is able to beat both Thurman AND Mikey in back to back fights, he's going to be a worn down 41 year old going down to 140 to fight a prime and hungry Tank Davis.

Pacquiao said he can't make 135 anymore, and after the Broner weigh in, Pac's team fed him a buffet and said he now gets hungry cutting down to 147. Pacquiao hasn't fought at 140 in 11 years, back when he was 29. I think Davis would take a chance against Pac at 140 in 2020 for his first PPV payday and that PPV exposure.

Pac should fight Spence if he beats Thurman. Wouldn't be that much different from a weight drained Oscar passing the torch to him

It seems Thurman fans forgot how bad Thurman looked in his last fight.

If Pacquiao beats Thurman and then retires that would put Spence little options on how to be a prize fighter. The Mikey fight just put him at the same place he was in and a porter and garcia win does little to put him to stardom as they are not huge draws like Pacquiao wouks give him.
spence and thurman are damn near the same age

It seems like the main reason Pacquiao left Arum/Top Rank/ESPN to go to Haymon/PBC was because Haymon and Mayweather in particular made a hand shake agreement that Mayweather-Pacquiao 2 would happen after Pacquiao-Broner.

But after Pacquiao-Broner, Manny called out Floyd who was in the audience and Floyd had no response, then later said he'll never give Pacquiao a rematch.

Beating Thurman, and immediately retiring afterward, would be the ultimate payback against Haymon for not making the Mayweather rematch happen. Right now, Haymon's probably excited about the winner of Pacquiao-Thurman fighting the winner of Spence-Porter.
