If you think about it Ortiz has said he wants to be a HW champion. If he has been offered a rematch with Wilder then that is his best chance of becoming a HW champion.
He doesn't stand a chance against AJ and rejecting $7m+ for that fight isn't because he is ******. It is because he knows if he took that fight he would get battered from start to finish and his career would be over. Yes he would have made a lot of money but if his goal was to be a champion as he claims then he wouldn't become one going that route.

If he is more interested in becoming a champion rather than a very rich boxer then I actually have a lot of respect for him for doing that. But just say it isn't about money or any of those things. Saying you have been offered a low fee when it is $7m+ based on never having a ppv fight nor ever earning 7 figures from one fight is crazy and not believable. Only an idiot would think you were being short changed.

If it's true, then Ortiz must be on drugs and you can take either of that 2 ways.

Can he pass a vada test? Is that the issue?

A lot of things could've been the case here, Al could've offered him more money for a Wilder rematch later this year, or Ortiz could've been in such a bad shape that he wouldn't be able to fight that soon or maybe it's really the PED cycle thing.

All are bad signs though, a rematch with Wilder seems to be the intention which means the Wilder vs Joshua fight will be postponed even longer which is just ****ty. Also fighters not jumping on such opportunities speaks volumes on how little legacy and titles mean in boxing today and it's really sad.

Unless they include a no testing clause, there will be no fight. King kong is way up high, only logical explanation.

Hearn really needs to learn a page from Bobfather's book.
You can't do this to Arum, he'd come up with alternative fights easily.
You can't be wasting so much money on clowns who don't deserve such huge money.

and as ive said...all the AJ fanboys insist that wilder is the easier fight.....so if he wins and can come to AJ with the wbc belt hell make even more off AJ later

if he loses to AJ now the wilder fight likely has no luster and is gone
The unfortunate reality is that Ortiz isn't a big draw. He just fought on Lara's undercard. A PPV with Wilder would do around 100-200k buys imo.

Wouldn’t be the first time op posted fake news

You also said Hearn offered tank 5 million for farmer which turned out to be false
