A 5 million dollar offer would have been very generous. Ortiz doesn't have any other fight that would bring him that kind of money....and his career is slipping away quickly at his old boxing age.

Ortiz would be getting a huge pay day AND the best opportunity in the sport of boxing, to beat THE man at heavyweight. If Ortiz wins that fight he'll stand to make a financial killing in future fights. It makes no sense that he's not accepting the offer ...even if the offer was in the 2 or 3 million dollar range.
