I don’t think he would personally turn down 5m, like a lot of sensible people have been saying everywhere (Not including all these PBC loyalists), it’s either he is cycling off his juice or Haymon has some type of contract/control over what his fighters can do.

I was expecting him at his age to do this for his daughter, was praying he gets a good payday for her medical bills.

You as an undercard fighter can not claim to be lowballed with a headlining fight, 5m offer, potentially more in a rematch, and three belts at stake. There is NO away to defend this duck. No boogeyman turns down that sort of opportunity.

Disagree Americans probably care more for Ortiz than their own. They don't know or care at all for any American HW not named Wilder.

Nobody knows who Mike Hunter or Trevor Bryan are even on this board ffs

America don't care for their HWs
Ortiz will be more known in America for his fight with Wilder and he's certainly more known among the boxing community, the guys who pay for fights.

He's a top 3 HW pay him what he's worth to save the show.

I like how people conveniently forget Ortiz fought for Hearn before who promised a shot at AJ that never materialised. He signed him just so he could further waste an aging fighters career.

Just more Hearn bs making some lowball offer so he can then say he tried its not his fault.
Funny how Ortiz, Wilder and Fury all say the same about him. He's a conman taking the British public for the idiots they are.

This guy just sold these suckers a card with Dave Allen headlining

            He has them brainwashed.
Can't make the Wilder fight, can't make the Fury fight, can't make the Ortiz fight. Everyone else but Eddies fault doe

Even his own figher Dillian Whyte has been blasting him in public over lowball offers

              This right here

Eddie Hearn is thinking America is like the UK putting on a card in Philadelphia and stack it with Philly fighters same in Chicago and Boston then wonders why he can't sell it

Americans don't really care where you are originally from that's why foreign fighters can be big draws over here

They're all turning down many multiples of their highest purse. Can't force these guys to fight. People can call them for what they are and make fun of the ****** fans defending them.

Ortiz is so popular he's fighting on undercards.

Do you just copy what the promoters put out? Ortiz is clearly not a top 3 HW. Only a ****ing clueless idiot would say such a thing.

Ortiz was a mandatory and would have made 5+ mil fighting Joshua, he chose to fight the easier option Wilder for 500k.

10X your highest ever purse isn't a lowball in any world other than Wildturd.

                    Nevermind those three.

Dillian Whyte has said the same thing about Hearn.

"Eddie is very good at what he does, his hands must be tied or he would have offered me more than 10-15% of what the fight is worth. I’d love to fight AJ but it’s obvious that he doesn’t want it”.

"The offer was unacceptable so I rejected it." On 14 January, Whyte and his team met with Hearn and he "made no effort to negotiate an alternative but accepted that it was too low, saying that it came from AJ and that he had told AJ it was too low. He promised to come back to me with an improved offer."

On 17 January, Hearn sent a slightly improved offer. "I made it clear that I wanted a percentage split of the show rather than fixed money as this is the normal way that I do business going back to my first fight with AJ and all the other PPVs I've been on," said Whyte. "Additionally, the offer included a rematch clause in AJ's favour. How can you expect to get the lion's share on a rematch after losing the fight?"

If this is how the guy deals with his own fighters, you can imagine how he has been dealing with Wilder, Fury, Ortiz, and others.

Whyte is following the Ortiz way. He'd rather make less but have more chance of winning against Wilder. Wilder has been Whyte's target for the past 2 and half years.
