Right. GGG at this point has to try something. Changing trainers has always been a way for a boxer to cause speculation and interest. Its to be expected. It’s not like Abel got GGG to change things up against Canelo even if that’s what he asked. The sword of Damocles was over his head. He’s lucky he was there for the rematch. Doesn’t mean anyone will train him better or worse, but this is how boxing works. I’d be surprised if anyone can improve a sliding GGG at this point. I also agree with you on the footwork, it’s not what it was, but he’s older now. I know there’s someone who can help him the most, I hope he finds that person.

Those trying make excuses just stop. This has nothing to do with Sanchez's training. Golovkin simply doesn't want to pay Sanchez now he's got a big deal. He's pocketing as much as he can while taking the easiest fights he can. Now there's nothing wrong with that itself, but after fooling his fans that he cared about the sport and boxing honours more than money it's ****ed up.Comment

No issue with this at all. At 37 there is very little that GGG can be taught.
He tried to leave the partnership with some dignity but Abel Sanchez has had to spit his dummy out.
I’m sure that true new financial package was still lucrative, he just wanted his unjust cut of the millions.
I like seeing boxers take control of their careers. The alternative allows a lunatic like Tunde Ajayi to pretend that he’s also in the ring on fight night as opposed to sitting safely in a corner.
I’ll support the fighter over the trainer every day of the week and twice on fight night.Comment

People are forgetting that the news was that GGG Promotions was expected to deliver new fights aside from GGG. Overall that becomes costlyComment
