    • GGG still the #1 topic even on NSB, the hottest commodity of this forum. I like it.

When you're making 1-2 million it may not be but when you start making those 15-20 mill paydays it certainly is all about that money.

I cant blame the dude at 37 years old. It's these 25 year old guys who've done Jack **** in the sport turning down life changing paydays that piss me off.

If that's the case. and Abel feels differently about it, then I can understand him being pissed off. But really, words as strong as he's using there should be spoken in private, not to the media.
Great post. Exactly right and why I have a problem with it.

              • Able could've dealt with this more professionally.

GGG has every right to maximize his earnings. It isn't called greed, it is being prudent.

Let's see if GGG can add new wrinkles to his game.

Sanchez, according to some of the GGG threads here, suggested that GGG might not even have won the second fight. I agree with him. Nevertheless, it's a relationship killer, as you mentioned.

I imagine that's GGG's whole beef, not so much the money. I knew sooner or later that would somehow get Sanchez in trouble.

Just guessing, no clue what's going on. It could just be a case of simple greed on GGG's part as well. If so, Karma is supreme!
I felt like there were already problems in the GGG camp after the first fight and that confirmed it. I'm actually surprised that GGG waited so long to make the switch. I find it hard to believe that it's as simple as greed with GGG.

                  • So 9 yrs together through thick and thin most trainers get 10% standard. Now ggg hits it big with dazn and now Abel only worth 2% or a flat fee. Changing is ggg choice but don’t pretend $ worries and strict bookkeeping.

This in a nutshell, I personally think Sanchez' response was pretty classless. Never rated the guy as a trainer, hopefully GGG can find someone who can get the best out of him technically.
