Abel was offered what comes to $2M over the course of Golovkin’s next six fights. Certainly a lowball offer, but where else is he going to earn $2M in the next three years? There isn’t a line out the door looking for Abel’s help in multi-million dollar fights.

I think GGG was looking to part ways with Sanchez and used this lowball offer to run him off. Who knows what went on behind the scenes. There may be more to the story.

I have always hated Abel Sanchez. Why? ...I don’t really know maybe his Tom selleck moustache just irritated me. I don’t care about him or GGG but GGG has come out and openly thanked you for your services. You have decided to behave like a female and air his dirty laundry. I just want to slap his eyebrows clean of his face

no need for sanchez anymore, mexican style will be useless on a canelo rematch, ggg will get stopped if he tries and he knows it...
at least ggg has a chance to make it to the distance with a different trainer... he aint winning, but at least make it decent...

Man I guess Abel is really emotional about this, and I can understand why, as it is a long relationship coming to an end. But I hate when people feel entitled to other people's money. These guys risk too much when they get in the ring, and GGG worked too hard to now finally get paid at the end of his career, to have everyone around him viewing it as their payday as well.

We see boxers go broke all the time and we always say 'what happened.' Well what happens is you let the $30 million you should have made get down to $10 million after everyone takes their cut. Then that goes to $5 million after taxes etc.

My guess is Abel was getting something close to 10% of GGG's purse before; and now GGG offered him a few million total out of the $100 million. More than a fair offer. No way should a trainer be getting 10% of that $100 million.

In the real world you see this all the time with real estate - when it is a $10 million dollar house, the commission is usually a fraction of what it is for a $150,000 home. Because you still make a huge amount with the smaller percentage on the $10 million purchase.

I like Abel but unfortunately this is a terrible look for him. That is GGG's money - the one who is looking greedy and entitled is Abel, and I didn't think he was that type of guy. Sad but that's the way the world works some times.

Wives definitely don't like to hear "Honey, I hit the lottery! Thank you for your services, but I think it's time I go in a different direction." I don't think Husbands like it much either! Lol!

I didn’t before but now I want Canelo to give him a third fight without a belt and give him one last ass whipping on the way out the door.
Serious question - if DAZN has a contract with GGG for $100 million for 6 fights - then you do realize he has to face Canelo right? Like they are going to force that fight.

And if they don't, then they have to pay GGG $100 million anyway lol. So you aren't screwing GGG over in any way. He already has that contract, although we don't know the specifics. But DAZN is calling the shots here and unless GGG loses/DAZN has an out clause somewhere GGG and Canelo are probably fighting twice more. That fight makes too much money for DAZN.
