Since when does your ranking have anything to do with what you get paid? If it did Rigo wouldn’t be fighting for $50,000 a fight.

Here are the reasons why Ortiz doesn’t deserve as much as Miller.

    1. He’s not from New York.
    2. He doesn’t speak a word of English.
    3. He regularly stinks the place out, see Malik Scott, Travis Kaufman and Christian Hammer a few examples.

He doesn’t deserve $5m and the fact he considers it lowball shows he doesn’t want anything to do with Joshua.
Lol....Ortiz had fought as many times as Miller in NYC the last 3 years

Ortiz had a foty candidate against a top 3 hw in NYC...Miller does not

    Ortiz ranked #5 everywhere....Miller lower

But u keep holding on to Miller speaking English!!!

Ortiz made 500k against Wilder and that is his career high pay-day to date, if u think 10 times his career high is a low ball (you haven't provided any reference as to where that number came from) then ur either a complete fool or a troll

5 Million is lowballing? I'm not so sure about that all considered.

It came based on the US market....Wilder is one of the most watched and highest paid us fighters....Wilders home country is not as interested in boxing as Joshua's....plain and simple.....for u to have to ask me tells me u know nothing....it's very simple

If Wilder were a UK gold medalist he'd be aj....if aj were born in America he'd be Wilder ....it's a market difference

Ortiz purse vs Wilder is completely irrelevant here....he's fighting aj who has a global and uk argument that helps support the money he makes....ur an idiot

Yeah so is that not what has happened. Globally Joshua must be worth 10x what Wilder gave Ortiz because he is able to offer 10x more money.

Is that what you are saying?

it's lower than jarrel miller got, and ortiz is a better fighter, so it is a low offer by definition.

what people are having issue with is the fact that it's still a ****load of money and that he should take it. and they're speculating that it's because he and a lot of these other guys are cycling drugs and not able to take the fight for that reason.

somebody is going to get the fight, he will be a low tier of fighter, and i doubt the purse will be public.

No it's a lower offer than miller got. It's not low and it's not lowball.

surefire way to kill fight he didn't want

remember....Ortiz is not only not the first HW to accuse hearn of lowballing...hearn has been accused by several guys of it in the past

its sad...but I get it...Ortiz too dangerous of a replacement plus lefthanded

for the record Ortiz asking for 10 mil is ridiculous...but I bet if eddie said 6.5 it would be done

never underestimate that extra 1.5...it pays trainers and managers and camp expenses.....but somehow hearn felt the less ballyhooed miller deserved more!!!! LOL
The $10 mil isn't ridiculous. Miller was set to make that in total. Miller won't fight on DAZN anymore so that money is there
