The NYSAC is very strict man. They are not as lenient or as corrupt as Nevada officials. I expect him to get at least more than a year but less than a lifetime ban without an opportunity for an appeal; Which I believe would be a bit too harsh.

I like that idea. Get popped. Get suspended. Get fined. And have to pay for your testing during your suspension til reinstated & til your career is over. Can't afford your testing or decide to stop being tested & your just banned from the sport. Come up positive again & rinse & repeat but with a longer suspension.
