Al Gaymon and his plantation is a disgrace to boxing.
I don't wanna hear this 'Ortiz is a boogieman' BS ever again

Ortiz's manager just said they turned down all the offers, what are you talking about?Wtf you even talking about brother?
PBC gots more guys fighting on DAZN then Eddie has fighting on PBC. Y'all mfers need to think about some of this sh^t before you speak it.
And we don't even know the details, but come the f#ck on when the choices are Ortiz a legit HW contender & maybe the 4th best guy & Ruiz, the king of the 24hr buffet deal & Hunter........idek wtf to say about him he's such a non-entity in the title picture then a lowball deal is gonna be the offer & I don't think in a business, a job you bend to a lowball offer & don't value yourself to the degree you should.
Plus the fact Matchroom didn't even send Team Ortiz a contract, assuming Ortiz is being legit, says everything to me that Ortiz was not on the real shortlist cuz in this sorta late sub scenario you are sending out multiple offers to boxers & getting signed deals back that you'll have the money guy sign when the money guy's team figures out what they wanna do. So Ortiz not even getting a lowball offer to sign says he wasn't seriously considered to me.

lol no he's not. jacobs is exclusive to matchroom usa. go check your facts.
eddie hearn is vargas' promoter. and really, those are the former pbc-promoted fighters who are smart enough to refuse to be ******.
al haymon is an advisor, so there's that. pbc is not a tv network. fox and showtime are. as far as that goes, matchroom fighters have fought on showtime, but you know doggone well that haymon is not about to work with hearn on anything. hearn is not the one stopping his fighters from fighting on other networks. your original contention was that haymon has way more fighters on dazn. i guess 2 vs 0 is "waay more".
i'll put it this way. haymon, as a supposed "adviser" has blocked waaay more fighters from earning highest paydays on DAZN than he has allowed. what's more, he's blocked them and somehow convinced them to take less money on other networks. Wilder. Ortiz. mell. mall. broner. davis. garcia. the list goes on.Last edited by that g; 04-23-2019, 05:47 PM.Comment

The boogeyman has turned into a chicken. Yeah, don't wanna hear anything about this guy again.
He should be condemned to everlasting mediocrity. Don't really care who he fights next.
I hope his opponents would cry "lowball" as well when he's looking for someone to fight.
He'll be 60 when Wilder rematches him.Comment

Jacobs is a Haymon guy. Haymon is basically PBC lets be real. Hence Jacobs is a PBC guy who's just happens to have a 3(?) fight deal with Matchroom on DAZN currently. When that deal ends he'll either re-sign or join back with PBC. I heard they were talking of going back to PBC as is til they were guaranteed the Canelo fight.lol no he's not. jacobs is exclusive to matchroom usa. go check your facts.

Again I ask what Matchroom fighters have been fighting on PBC shows?
Thats the fluidness of being a manager with power in this sport is you can have guys fight on multiple platforms. Promoters can't, won't or seldom do do that.
Charlo could end up being a DAZN guy soon to & he's a PBC guy also. Wilder had a deal with DAZN on the table recently.Last edited by Eff Pandas; 04-23-2019, 05:46 PM.Comment

you're just proving my point. one side is open to working with fighters from elsewhere. the other isn't. one side doesn't try to skirt the ali act. the other does. one side truly works in the best interest of the fighters. the other side works in the best interest of the networks they are tied to.Jacobs is a Haymon guy. hearn can't contact haymon to do a deal to put his fighter on fox for two reasons. 1. because that clearly violates the ali act, and 2. hearn's networks pay the most money.

Am sure if PBC/Fox or showtime (Whichever one) offers a DAZN/Matchroom fighter a good deal they would fight on those network. You would not see Hearn blocking those fight, DAZN didn’t pick up the recent Whyte/Chisora rematch and guess what? Hearn negotiate a deal with Showtime.you're just proving my point. one side is open to working with fighters from elsewhere. the other isn't. one side doesn't try to skirt the ali act. the other does. one side truly works in the best interest of the fighters. the other side works in the best interest of the networks they are tied to.

If Hearn or any other promoter sends a contract to a fighter and they sign it that is a legally binding agreement.
If Hearn sent out multiple offers to multiple fighters and got multiple signed contracts back for the same fight he would be hit with multiple law suits very quickly!
If Ortiz rejected the money he was offered there would be no reason to send him a contract.Comment

This entire sport is pathetic for real. Only good fight this year is Gennady vs Rolls who is undefeated and we have nothing else.Comment
