Theres a pretty long list of fighters disgusted by Eddie Hearn, and his dodgy offers.
He's even trying to screw over his own fighters like Whyte.
They cant all be "ducking", sooner or later you have to conclude Eddie is the one killing these fights.
List all of the offers Hearn has made, and then tell me why they're bad offers?
Fighters like to call AJ out to look tough and make out they're dangerous. But when the reality comes to actually fight, they make all the excuses to duck and shift the blame. They're cowards. As are you.
Just because its your biggest pay day doesn't mean you didn't get short changed. Value to a fight event changes from fight to fight.
Ortiz value in the June Joshua fight is far greater than it was for the Wilder fight.
1. He is a late sub which will save the event.
2. He brings much more credibility than Miller.
3. He is Cuban and will bring more fans than any other sub.
Should Ortiz take less than Miller to make a better event? Not saying he got offered less but for now the last word on this issue is that Eddie lowballed them.
He's getting paid a lot more than he did against Wilder. Still doesn't want it.
Ortiz doesn't bring any fans for his fights. There aren't thousands of Cubans who buy tickets to see him. A couple of hundred max, and that's your lot. Otherwise he'd be fighting in a full house due to all the fans of the other fighters on the bill as well.
Ortiz set his value at 500K for the Wilder fight. He lost, so he shouldn't expect more. But he's been offered a lot more than that to fight now. He even said he'd pretty much fight AJ for free. Someone posted up the interview on this very thread. So if he got 2 Mill for the fight, that isn't getting short changed because he's never earned that before, nor will he earn that against anyone else.
Ortiz should have gotten at least what Jarrell Miller was getting. I’m sure the offers were much much less. Big Babyhimself barely sniffed 100k before ****ing up the AJ payday title shot so past pay isn’t relevant. The money isn’t the most important thing, it’s respect and nobody wants to be taken advantage of. We know the truth and AJ or Hearn wants no part of Ortiz. Picking a soft touch cruiserweight proves that don’t want AJ to get derailed unexpectedly by a hard puncher.
Miller forced Hearns hand because he had nowhere else to go with all the other top names ducking AJ. He didn't get his market value.
AJ having to pay extreme amounts of money just to get these b1tches into the ring is the craziest thing I've ever seen in boxing. As is all the weirdos who defend it.
