I think Canelo was just hoping Golovkin fought Andrade so his schedule would become a bit easier.

With Golovkin taking on a nobody it essentially makes Canelo’s road tougher. Instead of one of Andrade or Golovkin being eliminated Canelo most likely will have to go through both of them now.

I expect Canelo vs. Andrade in September, Canelo vs. a nobody in December in Mexico, and Canelo vs. GGG 3 in May of 2020.

And all of that is assuming Canelo beats Jacobs, which isn’t guaranteed.

Canelo wants to unify

unlike Golovkin - who did nothing but talk about it for 12 years - Canelo will possibly achieve that feat within the next 12 months

if Golovkin will not play his part in cleaning out 160, then Canelo should treat Golovkin exactly like he is worth..... irrelevant
