This puzzzy went from screaming it's all about the belts...to now belts don't matter (because good fighters hold all the belts) that's why I'm fighting bum Rolls after ducking Andrade for a shot at his WBO belt which would mean a fight with Canelo later this year is for Undisputed and all the belts. Belts don't matter no more when he used that excuse to duck better fights for years. Just like he was screaming Mexican Style, Mexican Style Canelo fight me Mexican Style that's why I looked bad the first fight. Then punked out a Mexican Style fight in the rematch. But hey this clown has always been a hypocrite and fraud. Just like 154 or 168 right? Then turned big fights because he refused to fight above or below 160 like he promised.

Canelo took this fraud's soul so he is fighting bum Rolls who is barely top 100 ranked to fool he ****** fanbase into thinking he's a "Killer" again. Funny he can't look like a Killer or even fight Mexican Style against good fighters. Just when you thought Vanes was a terrible fight he outdid himself and dipped ever further in the trash to find a opponent. Canelo is going to hurt this man even worse then the rematch he just to get 1 last retirement payday and too scared to fight anyone with a pulse before he loses to Canelo and cries with dozen new excuses.

IMO, Gennady is much more concern about keeping his brand than fighting Canelo. I think he gave up on chasing legacy or belts. My impression is that he won’t fight for much longer - the idea is to use his name to establish the stable of young Kazakh fighters.

I think those two fights with Canelo really taken his desire for chasing belts. The 1st fight was a clear victory and the 2nd could have gone either way. Having 0:1:1 must doesn’t feel fair. The idea behind the 3rd fight would be to maximise the financial gain. There is no way he gets a decision even if the 1st fight repeats itself. I think he will use this fight to see what he still have - I wouldn’t be too suprised if he doesn’t look anything like his old self.

i remember when ggg wanted all the belts..."give me my belt"..he would say,,now canelo wants the same and I'm glad he does,that means he would have to face Andrade and I want those fights for canelo,jacobs,andrade then charlo,,,hopefully those fights get made...if canelo wins would like to see him get his mandatory fight with charlo in sept and Andrade face ggg for the title,,winner faces charlo/canelo winner in may...we can only hope this can happen

Why do people keep calling this a comeback fight? What is he coming back from? He wasn't injured. He fought Canelo & Vanes 8 months apart & nobody called that a comeback fight. This fight in June will only be a 9 month layoff.

I don’t consider myself a fan of either guy. But I’ve cheered for Canelo in both their fights. But I think his stance here is complete and utter horse****. Especially when you look at the fact that he dropped a belt when GGG was his mandatory because he wasn’t gonna be forced into that fight. So obviously, the belts aren’t that important to Canelo. Canelo simply knows that there’s nearly a ten year age gap between he and GGG. And the longer he waits to fight him again, the more favorable it will be for him.

That said, it’s hard for me to feel sorry for GGG because he’s that one that used his little “all the belts” crusade when it was convenient for him. And that’s proven to be complete and utter horse**** in itself. The belts only mattered when GGG had to take a mandatory that nobody wanted to see. Or when a guy like Mr Ward’s name game up. GGG wasn’t worried about belts when he was calling out Floyd, who was a welterweight. He didn’t care about belts when he fought Kell Brook, who was a welterweight. And he doesn’t care about belts now.
