I pick Crawford to win. I just hope this fight will get made in the near future but I highly doubt it.Comment

Bob arum is just saying this for fun. LOL.Thats the reality of it. He doesn't want the fight and is happy to hide behind his promo team. Quit making excuses for him, hes a grown man and if he went to haymon and said get me the crawford fight or im leaving when my contract runs out, the fight would be made within a week. Porter looked like crap last fight so spence has decided thats who he wants.
Look, no bulls---, I'm all in," Arum said. "We'll do 50-50 and split the TV with both ESPN and Fox, or whoever they want to use. Do it like we did for Floyd and Manny. It's easy. We want the fight and Terence wants the fight. We are not standing in the way of this fight and we are doing everything we can to get it done. Haymon won't even talk about it."

They have no leverage. Enjoy your top rank mismatches, all the big fights are with PBC

Fact is Spence has a few good fights he can make, Crawford not so much. Arum knows this, which is why he did what he did out of desperation basically...even if he is kind of right. Hopefully once the in house fights dry up for Spence, we’ll finally see him vs Crawford.Comment

Crawford is on the outside looking in. In the most important stretch of his career. He had his choice. This is not about blame necessarily. But PBC has all the good welters. They can fight each other for Supremacy, then fight Crawford. while he'; have the Khan's off the world to compete withYou can't put any blame on Bud at all. Tell those guys at PBC to reach across the table and unify the titles. What you're saying doesn't even make sense. And you using Floyd and Dlh as examples of anything does not apply. Arum is wrong in how he is approaching Haymon, but Bud doesn't deserve any blame at all.
I hope he gets to fight Brook. That's a good, relevant fightComment

not going to say Spence is ducking, but if he wants this fight it can happen, but I doubt he cares, he has plenty of options.Comment

Now you are moving the goalposts. You asked what fight has Haymon made with another promoter, I gave it to you. Instead of just saying , "Ok Dunn, I forgot that", you now bring up what type of fight it was.Fury was brought in as an opponent...a name for Wilder to look good against and to have on his resume. But it backfired for them.
Might have looked like a great fight on paper when you didn't consider Fury being retired and only fighting 2 absolute scrubs to prepare for Wilder. Let's just be honest. The plan was to make Wilder look good and KO Fury to make Joshua look bad and make Wilder a star simultaneously.
Not a whole lot of people were asking for that fight since Fury had been on a 2.5 year coke binge. And then Wilder got a gift decision that made boxing look like crap again.
We wanted Joshua vs Wilder and Haymon prevented that fight! Just like he is preventing Ortiz right now, although so it seems. That's why he is bad for boxing. He is good for his fighters but not for the sport. Only makes big fights happen when his fighter has every single advantage.
The bottom line is Haymon just made the exact type of fight you described he didn't. Further, when the plan "backfired" as you said (I agree with you BTW) he went about making the rematch immediately, only to have Arum come in and block it.
Respectfully, you should admit you were wrong!
As for Joshua/Wilder-Hearn and Joshua blocked it 1st. They wanted a non US ppv to launch DAZN so that is why they didn't choose Wilder and went with Povetkin instead. Hearn did what was best for his company, not the fans.
Now Hymon does the same-he tries to make Fury instead of AJ and then makes AJ/Brazeale instead of having Wilder sign to DAZN because that is best for his company, not the fans.
No offense to you, but you can't avoid criticizing Hearn in this instance and then label Haymon as bad for the sport for doing the exact same thing-doing what is best for his company.
Hearn and Arum do the exact same thing-make fights when their fighter has the advantage. So why are you only mad when Haymon does this?
You are right that these things are bad for the sport but the problem I have is you only condemn 1 guy while essentially giving the other major players a pass when they all are doing the same things.
Is that fair or unbiased?Comment

That's the thing...I'm not only mad at All Haymon. I already said Arum was a scumbag. So I don't know where you are getting it from that I'm just hating on Haymon. Your problem with my post is non-existent. You basically just explained why he is bad for the sport. Do I need to say anything else? Now you are moving the goalposts. Crawford ducked all the top welterweights by being ESPN exclusive and re signing with Top Rank. He fights faded former champs, b class or lower trinket holders, and bums only. He's an overrated hype job. They're using Spence's name to help promote Crawford's **** fights and morons like ts eat the **** up like it's soft serve on a hot day.Comment
