You said the last time he worked with someone else for a big fight, and I gave you an example. Fury is NOT with Haymon, so Haymon had to work with Warren to make that fight. Fury fighting on SHO is relevant in what way? SHO just picked up his fights that were promoted by Warren. They also picked up Whyte's fight against Chisora.Comment

Neither is ducking but Crawford made a bad decision not signing with PBC. If he truly intended to be undisputed then it made the most sense. I suspect that Crawford was short sided in that he wanted to be the big man on campus at ESPN instead of seeing the value of being a team with the top guys. It says a lot about Al that Arum has to resort to child like tactics to get his way. I would love to see Brook vs Crawford, Pac vs Thurman, Spence vs Porter and Garcia vs Ugas. Garcia vs Ugas winner take on winner of Crawford and Brook, Porter Spence sinner takes on Thurman Pac winner. Hopefully at the end it's Crawford vs Spence for all the marblesComment

As a free agent it's bad decision to choose to ESPN over PBC as a welterweight if your intentions are to unify. Terrance being at the
top of the game was made presentations by all. He went for Arum's deal with a limited roster of welters. As a free man he had free will. But if his aspirations are as he says there was a clear choice here. There are reasons why Floyd and Oscar made more after leaving Top RankComment

You can't put any blame on Bud at all. Tell those guys at PBC to reach across the table and unify the titles. What you're saying doesn't even make sense. And you using Floyd and Dlh as examples of anything does not apply. Arum is wrong in how he is approaching Haymon, but Bud doesn't deserve any blame at all.As a free agent it's bad decision to choose to ESPN over PBC as a welterweight if your intentions are to unify. It's amazing, isn't it?It’s amazing that all the posters that have been banned for racism always seem to find fault with Haymon and his fighters when a fight doesn’t happen, regardless of the facts. That can’t be a coincidence.
ESPN and Top Rank are operating the same way HBO and Top Tank did- make fights with other promoters when the TR guy is sure to win or it’s a mando that has to be fulfilled or the TR fighter loses their belt.
Hopefully ESPN management operates differently in the future.
They have 50 years of "over marinating", "low-ball offers", "careful matchmaking", and "outright avoidance" that is a significant part of the TR legacy.
This fight will be made when Arum can be assured of making lots of money.
Period.
Not one second before.Comment
