I really wish Spence and his team showed more productivity in making this fight next as opposed to recycling PBC fighters.

As for big fights he is preventing, it was Arum that said he wouldn’t make the fight unless it was a PPV. It has been Arum saying everything. Haymon hasn’t said one thing. It’s like you and others give Bob credit for negotiating through the media despite the things he’s on record as saying.
Arum is a scumbag...but Al is bad for the sport as well. I asked you this:
When is the last time Al Haymon has worked with anyone else tho regarding big fights? Can't remember one instance recently...

I know nothing of the kind. My money is on Spence to beat Crawford. Spence would have finished Khan much quicker than Crawford did and he would not have needed 12 rounds to finish the guy Crawford fought before Khan. I doubt Crawford will be the betting favorite if they fight.

How is Haymon bad for the sport when he puts more of the sport on television? The politics and divisions are bad for the sport but that wasn’t all Haymon. He was kicked off hbo. He had no choice but to create a venue for his fighters. I am pretty sure if you were Haymon you’d do something similar.

He just made Wilder/Fury and then Fury signed with Arum and the fight got blocked. You forgot that fight happened already?

No need to look any further than December with Wilder/Fury.

I think the amount of elite level boxers "scared" of other boxers is a lot lower than what this forum portrays. Crawford has been vocal about Spence. Spence seems indifferent and talking his side of the street but I'm not getting scared from him. It makes sense for him to fight Porter then Thurman and then he has three belts and his marketability will increase so could argue to deserving a better % in negotiations.

It's unfortunate for the fans because it is the best fight in boxing and it's hot right now. It would be sad if Spence moves out of the division before it happens because neither guy is losing anytime soon but I don't think it's a possibility for them to fight in the next 18 months.

Ideal/realistic scenario would be something like :-

Spence fights Porter next, Thurman fights Pacquaio and the winners meet sometime next year and I'm sure he'll need a mandatory in that time. Crawford perhaps fights a PBC guy like Danny Garcia on a PPV, perhaps Ramirez in LA or Vegas and probably a mandatory in it and then this time 2021 they fight for all the marbles. It could be a crossover fight at that point too.

It's easy to call a champion boxer a coward if you have never been a pro boxer yourself and have no respect.

Fury was brought in as an opponent...a name for Wilder to look good against and to have on his resume. But it backfired for them.
Might have looked like a great fight on paper when you didn't consider Fury being retired and only fighting 2 absolute scrubs to prepare for Wilder. Let's just be honest. The plan was to make Wilder look good and KO Fury to make Joshua look bad and make Wilder a star simultaneously.
Not a whole lot of people were asking for that fight since Fury had been on a 2.5 year coke binge. And then Wilder got a gift decision that made boxing look like crap again.
We wanted Joshua vs Wilder and Haymon prevented that fight! Just like he is preventing Ortiz right now, although so it seems. That's why he is bad for boxing. He is good for his fighters but not for the sport. Only makes big fights happen when his fighter has every single advantage.

Fury fought on Showtime literally the fight before that...how is that working with a rival network like ESPN and DAZN?
