I don't think you heard what arum said. He said haymon dosen't pick up his phone. Top rank has reached out to them to make the fight happen. Don't be a biased fan boy.

You could be done all you want, doesn't make anything I said not true. But cool we could end it here.

Nope, that NEVER happened. See, don't try to play this BS game with me. Arum said earlier in the week, I will be calling Al Haymon on Tuesday or Wednesday to make this fight. Said as long as he hasn't changed his number, he will give him a call.

Find me where Arum has said he has reached out to Haymon to make this fight...And don't try to come with some BS, don't worry, I'll wait.

We don't even know how well or how poorly the PPV buys did in the first place. We don't even know how the phone call or talks will go....Because no call has been made yet.
All week theirs been video of Ellerbe saying that their won’t be any fight soon
I just don’t think he’d come out with a statement like that forcing Haymon to react if he didn’t want the fight
I just think Arum is trying to provoke Al to come to the table
Then again maybe something happened behind the scenes and we’re not aware

PBC is scared to mention the real boogeyman's name. I'm glad Ward called Elerbe out too, subliminally at least, for his recent interview about not doing business with Crawford. Saying, 'I don't like how certain en****** (censoring en-ti-ties? wtf bscene?) are bragging about not being willing to make a fight happen. Why shouldn't it happen next?' (something to that extent. It was at the end of the broadcast, I can't link a vid)
I love Ward and what he said. Fans need to be pushing for this fight and not looking for reasons for the fight not to happen. This is the BEST fight to be made in boxing right now. Will never disagree there. I haven't seen Ellerbe's interview, but he was talking about freezing out Crawford and bragging about it, then he is completely wrong.

However, that wasn't the point of the thread. Arum is already saying why the fight isn't taking place....When he has yet to make any attempt to make it yet.

KILLED the rematch that was close to being signed and then told everyone that he wants to delay it until February 2020 where it could be a two million PPV buys type of fight. Then went on a rant on how Hearn has screwed Joshua in signing an exclusive deal with DAZN....Which is not the case at all.

Ellerbe is a moron for that. I haven't seen the video yet and will look for it.

But Ellerbe isn't involved in Spence's career at all. And Arum LAST week on Steve Kim's and Mario Lopez's podcast was actually saying what he said post fight. He was blaming Haymon for the Spence/Crawford fight not happening...And literally two minutes later mentioned he will be giving Haymon a call first thing Tuesday or Wednesday lol. So Arum was saying this even before Ellerbe made whatever statement he made.

Arum said he'll try. I can only think he will bc he just put a lot of public pressure on everybody. You know media is going to ask about the fight more and more from here on. It's going to be hard to back track on those statements. And I think Arum feels pressure from Crawford for more ppv bouts. Crawford said he long deserved to be on ppv, but you need names for that. Bc tonight shouldn't have truly been a ppv fight.
