The problem was that, Amir's corner called it. Khan had 5 minutes to recover. They decided to call it instead. That's a TKO loss. Plus Khan gave indication to the corner to basically stopping it by saying he couldn't do anything.

He used what? 45 seconds of 5 minutes allowed and said he couldn't move?

Here are the unified rules of boxing for the uneducated (most of you):

      13. A fighter who is hit with an accidental low blow must continue after a reasonable amount of time but no more than five (5) minutes, or he/she will lose the fight.

A fighter has up to five minutes to recover from a low blow BUT if he can't or doesn't want to continue after these five minutes, he loses the fight by TKO.

Fight was correctly ruled a TKO. Khan used to have a big heart, he definitely wouldn't have quit like that a few years ago. He's done at this level.
I don't know where you keep your balls, but mine are right next to my upper thighs. You hit me with a boxing glove on the inside of my upper thigh, you're also hitting the soft, dangly collection of objects I keep next to it.

It’s a crappy way to win a fight. The ref needed to back off and give Khan some space instead of asking him every 5 seconds if he was ready. I don’t know if it would have made a difference but it was weird how he was doing that

"I wanna quit. You wanna quit?"

            "Yeah, let's quit."

            "Quit it is."

If the groin hit is an accident, occurs in round 1 or 2, and the victim cannot continue: the result is N/C, No Contest. (No win, no loss for either contestant.)

If the groin hit is an accident, occurs in round 3 or later, and the victim cannot continue: the result is decided on a points total so far. (Either contestant may win.)

If the groin hit is deliberate, and the victim cannot continue: the result is Disq., also written as D/Q, Disqualified. (The offending contestant is disqualified and the victim has a record of W (D/Q) - a win by disqualification.)

And if the victim can continue:
If the groin hit is an accident, no action is taken.
If the groin hit is deliberate: the offender gets a warning / point deduction / D/Q, depending on the total of fouls up to that point.
