You asked who he fought, give some names and i did. Anybody who was a boxig fans from 92-06 should know these names and their reputation. If Lewis, Diaz and Santos are the only names you recognize then you may have started watching boxing back in 98-99 more or less.

A nobody who is lined up to get a title shot at 154, which means he's a good fighter.

Who the **** is Victoriano Sosa, Phillip N'dou, DeMarcus Corley, Henry Bruseles, and what made them deserve a shot? Your just hating cause you know Margarito would be two much for Floyd to handle.

Thats a pretty weak argument, seeing as Mayweather has faced 9 world champions.
As im sure you know, neither Corley or Mayweather had a belt when they fought, and it was FLoyd's first fight at 140. He chose the dangerous Corley, who just lost a close split decision to Zab Judah in the previous fight.
He dominated him, knocking him down twice.
The reason he went to 140 was to get that big money fight with Gatti.
However, Gatti backed out after the Corley fight, so Floyd had to take the tough road, by beating Brussles in a WBC LIght Welterweight Eliminator fight.
That is how he got his shot at Gatti.

Boy please, Floyd is at welter weight now, not the feather weight divison, he has to prove he's the best by fighting Margarito in that division, but hey I agree about what you said on another post, if Mayweather really fights a tough guy or fights someone that offerd Floyd a bigger paycheck then I'm cool with that.
